I finally beat vet maelstrom arena

I feel like I have climbed a mountain all other decent players before me have had to climb. It might not be a big deal but I feel like all my practicing has finally paid off a little.
It was a several months long process. Somehow I got to the ice arena with the trolls around 300 cp still not having any kind of plan or rotation. I stayed on that arena for so long I can’t recall, finally one day a month ago I beat it.
I then got stuck on the invulnerable spider level for about a month. Recently I turned my character into a WW and just banged out all but the final boss On Saturday. I thought WW was gonna carry me through but I couldn’t get through the second phase of the final boss with it. I had to change back to MagSorc and redo the whole level on Sunday to kill the final guy. It was actually quite a bit easier with MagSorc instead of WW.
Oh and I got a ice staff on first try if you wanted to know.

The second clear is much quicker , as is your 3rd,4th 5th etc

I got stuck in the poison stage two years ago.
For several months i've tried to clear it but then i've decided it was yoo much for me.
Now that you have done it, you have basically finished the game in singleplayer mode, i believe nothing will be as hard in the future.Signature1 -

PexiMax✭Congrats. I finished my first vMa 3 days ago after trying to get past stage 9 for a few days. But i went there directly on easy mode..petsorc. After the first try i already did it twice..is easier and easier. I got shield and axe, bow, and resto staff. Im hunting for my lightning.0

✭The first clear is a great feeling, but an even better feeling is after that several month long struggle (mine took several months too) is going back in right afterward and plowing through the whole arena again, this time like a hot knife through butter.

✭max cp here did my first vMA last week on my non pet mag sorc went through just burning everything got sharpened maul at first try then went back got flame staff on 6th or 7th run did couple of time for bow then gave up not really worth that hassle unless they introduce token system or weapon drop in normal mode as well with 497k score being my best

✭✭✭✭✭Nice job! vMA is, imo, the most iconic piece of content in this game. It’s alway been punishing the first time through even as CP made it easier for those of us who came later on. The feeling of getting through it isn’t like anything else in the game. It’s go it’s bugs but I think it’s also one of the better designed dungeons/trials/arenas. Really makes you work for it when you’re learning. I wish they’d do another solo or possibly duo arena. Having a team is nice but there’s something so refreshing about challenging single player content in an MMO.0 -

The meteors on the second phase weren’t showing a red circle before they hit so I was having to guess when and where they would land.Congrats !

Actually there were no combat q’s, and I don’t remember having the combat q’s ever before Sunday. It really helped knowing exactly where the edge of a meteor or spike was.
I must have changed a setting when I first started playing, then changed it back Saturday night when I was messing around after I left the arena.
