Make sure to call out in zone chat that its an ganker inside the quest house at the town.FleetwoodSmack wrote: »VvardeFellow wrote: »So on day two, in Bruma, in what I think is a quest giver house, upon entering, I am immediately killed by what I later learn from those who know such things, as persistent AOE from a group of opposing faction players
wait a minute - isn't don't stand in stupid (red circles and other obvious ominous signs) a thing in all of tamriel?
To be fair, sometimes you're killed before you're even out of the loading screen.
I know, I was just kidding...it's sad cuz people still do camp those quest houses for that same reason - as you phase into the structure, you're character is extremely vulnerable for a second or two - enough time for someone(s) to be able to bring you down before you can even react...
And follow the zone chat..

If you really don't understand what he said, then it's you that needs to L2P.
@geonsocal, it would be nice to say you can just "get out of red", but what I saw an AD tourist-farm group of 5 use in Cropsford was:VvardeFellow wrote: »So on day two, in Bruma, in what I think is a quest giver house, upon entering, I am immediately killed by what I later learn from those who know such things, as persistent AOE from a group of opposing faction players

That said, like many, many "tourists" who do not PVP, I went to the holy grail of Cyrodil this week, to get my boxes. First time there. Pretty place. Expected to die every second, but as I was there and stumbled into "dailies", and started doing those, it took awhile for someone, somewhere in the boonies to jump me. Shrug it off, learn the spawn and transit system.
So on day two, in Bruma, in what I think is a quest giver house, upon entering, I am immediately killed by what I later learn from those who know such things, as persistent AOE from a group of opposing faction players, although I hesitate to call them players because why insult the term players?
Anyway. some said it was an exploit, some said it was just your ordinary grief-er , and of course some said "git gud", as if bad spelling was somehow an antidote to anything.
I don't really care about getting grief-ed, after the second time and learning, I stayed away from the house. But, which is it? Exploit or what?
And people say PvP isn’t badLadySinflower wrote: »Make sure to call out in zone chat that its an ganker inside the quest house at the town.FleetwoodSmack wrote: »VvardeFellow wrote: »So on day two, in Bruma, in what I think is a quest giver house, upon entering, I am immediately killed by what I later learn from those who know such things, as persistent AOE from a group of opposing faction players

Last night someone was calling out in game chat about gankers camping a certain city. You know what the responses were?
"So kill them, dumba$$!" <<--- Those exact words, from more than one person.
Someone called out for help or to warn other questers, and were basically told to eff off. Why would you bother to shout out in chat if this was what you were going to get? Another example of the shining pinnacles of humanity inhabiting Cyrodiil this week.
And you don’t see it from outside; because it’s a separate zone.FleetwoodSmack wrote: »VvardeFellow wrote: »So on day two, in Bruma, in what I think is a quest giver house, upon entering, I am immediately killed by what I later learn from those who know such things, as persistent AOE from a group of opposing faction players

So tell me, what is there to learn about going through a door and getting killed before your loading screen allows you to see what's happening on the other side? Loading screen disappears, you're dead. Choose where to respawn - but not here! Go back to the extreme opposite side of the country where your color's gates are! You have another 15 minutes to spend riding around the hole in the middle of the country, don't you?
Please, enlighten us. What tactics would you use against that? Wiggle your fingers at the screen and say "abracadabra?" Better yet! Maybe if you say "avada Kedavra" you will kill them instead!
Ridiculous!
I was that guy who make you die with aoe in house.
Got 100-150k ap without lowpop bonus for 10 min.
It was fun, after 10 min farming blues come to house in 30ppl same time and kill us 5 hard.
Next time i would use few meatbags and coldharbour ballistas inside.
And tbh it's the funniest pvp content that devs provide us since summerset launch.

@labambao
Well, it's not PvP, it's simple slaughter. It's like calling yourself boxing champion since you have beaten everyone in the kindergarten.

People in this game must find some fun by themself, because zos dont provide us anything. It was roleplay.
I've never understood why they left the doors intact in town buildings containing quest NPCs when they got rid of the resource tower doors.
well, in the sewers it was complained about that for a time when you would load in through the laddars they would kill you before you got a chance to even do anything because of lagg, you would load in dead.
they eventually fixed it to where u were safe for a short period upon loading, sounds like something similar is happening with that house but, i dont know how it could be reportable, kinda of a grey area, just like years ago they had that mistake where people could load to the other alliances safe zone, and they were killing people that were afk, they came out and called it a "grey area"
They also took the doors off of keeps for exactly the same reason.
Farming players who are immobilized from entering a door is most certainly an exploit, and I've been reporting all players I've come across doing so as exploiters.

I know, bad for immersion purposes, but good for survival ...
You all need to slot some impen and stop heading into strange buildings where weirdos lay an wait lol.
