Feel cheesy playing a sorc in PVP

First off this is not a nerf thread. I'm just surprised how fun/easy mag sorc is. I feel cheap using it though because it feels so easy..is that weird? I played 15 bgs this weekend and went 20something and 2 or 3 most of them without having played the class in about a year. It's crazy you see a player from far away you just put endless fury on them then light attack curse, light attack reach, light attack frag and gg that's about 3seconds to do that and they just eat it hahaha. On my stam dk it's so different, i'm not envious about sorc's burst but I am envious of the mobility haha and kinda blown away how fun they are. I'm looking forward to some epic sorc vs necro fights when the expansion drops but man oh man this game keeps surprising me.

Could be you're better with it.
I have a similar feeling with my Stam characters vs my mag in PvP.
I'm like wow, Stam be ballin with it's bleeds, mobility, hots, spots and dots.24 -

I doubt that, I've seen your you tube and your zaan sorcerer was doing major work. The hots and dots are prob my favorite thing the stamina classes bring to the table but streak might be my favorite ability in the game haha. I like where stam and mag are currently where they each bring their own unique things to the fore.. it's a good spot right now.2 -

Hahah that's what I was saying to myself. The reach, frag, fury combo was deleting people like wrecking blow/leap or a shalkbreaker when we still had expedition pots and nobody saw it coming. I didn't play too much sorc when runecage was a thing though so I don't know if reach is performing better or if we're just entering the super high damage era.0 -

✭✭Ya mag pet sorcs are the easiest to play. I'm not asking to nerf them. But they have one of the easiest rotations and they pull crazy dps atm. Also they are easy mode in vMA, I get flawless every time. And they are great in pvp. So they seem a little op imo.4 -

Yea I've run some vet dungeons with the same sorc and in pve the sustain is trash so far2 -
MrGraves✭✭✭✭I like sorc but their execute is a little absurd imo. love being killed in BG and I see every attack is from 1 person doing all the dmg n the sorc just has that ability on me and gets the kills. Sometimes from the other team or same team but still RIP ppl besides sorc trying to do the achievements that require getting the final blow on someone. I've noticed alot usually when I'm on my sorcs i have mostly class skills too. Which is nice to be able to do that.1 -

Its misinformation to say nb were overloaded. They were already nerfed into a single target playstyle.
They were actually in a similar spot where its hard to nerf without destroying the one thing the class was good at.
Seems like that didnt stop the dev tho.
On topic, Sorc is fun. When i run it in bgs mages wrath gets a crap load of finishers. Everyone on the map becomes my assistant. lol7 -

Nightblades are useless in their current PTS state, and the only thing that needed toned down for Nightblades was Invisibility, which they didn't even touch.4 -

✭✭✭✭✭Are you new to BGs, do you not play BGs very often or do you play on off hours? Mag sorcs are very good again unskilled players. They’re also still pretty easy to get kill steals with in BGs.5 -

If they make it to live in that state, I am personally starting nerf threads for everything that kills me in Cyro until all classes are completely useless and we resort to fighting without weapons and just use wet noodles

✭I decided to make a new mag sorc recently during the bonus XP event. I had one way back in the pre-Tamriel One days but I wasn’t really feeling it back then. This time around though, my word, loads of fun and so many useful class skills. The plan was to make her a pet sorc but the flappy flap annoys me so much I only use it when I think things will get hairy.
Now I just need to make sure the bar swap doesn’t get lost to lag in Cyro so I can stop zipping toward the enemies. I must have really confused the wannabe ganker skulking about Vlas this morning.1 -

that combo only works for newbies or unskilled players. Try that combo against a dk and you are going to end up in respawn.3 -

✭✭The class is broken, i started playing mag sorc last week and i don't think i'll play anything else any time soon.
Shields are too strong. Pets are too strong. Frags procs too often and do too much dmg. Endless fury does job for you, i randomly get kills on players that are nowhere near me anymore. Finally streak is too cheap and covers too much ground.
I'm riding this train until they decide to balance the class though.
Btw, it seems most people are very aware of the broken state of mag sorcs in pvp. I've had several games recently where 6-10 players out of 12(bgs) were mag sorcs."I don't know you, and I don't care to know you."

HEBREWHAMMERRR✭✭✭✭✭I put my day 1 magblade on shelf at 4* for pvp given how easy my magsorc is to play. It does literally everything my magblade does with half the effort plus provides group healing. The amount of 1vX clips I’ve got these last couple weeks is insane and the effort it took is so minimal. The fact my magblade is taking a hit next patch and my magsorc build is only going to be able to sustain even better is mind blowing. I’ll keep riding the train even though I don’t want to 2
