Molten whip vs flame lash

jnelson1182✭✭I run a mag DK as my 2nd , mostly pve cuz I'm still learning the game so I am not trying to get into pvp until ice gotten my builds as well as the mechanics of the game down, but so far I prefer lash due to the slight heal we get from it, its worked great for me soloing probably just as much as in random dungeons when the healer has a hard time keeping up with heals I just adjust my rotation so I hit lash a few times to heal myself taking some of the load off of the healing. plus anytime I'm soloing, which is quite often since I haven't found anyone to group with yet, its awesome to be able to spam a cheapself heal lol.* Maccb- Level 50 DragonKnight- Fire mage type build/ BSW body, Valkyn Skoria mister set, & Willpower Jewelry/Random Flame/Lightning/Reston STAFF's

BxBourne✭We need dps testing to see if the spell damage increase to ardent abilities is overall better than the overall damage you get from flame last procs for pve. I think up time is everything for pve dps so Iam leaning towards whip for pve. I use lash for pvp where it gives you nice burst damage for those pvp encounters and a nice heal you can use, nonetheless some testing can put this to rest.0 -

Lico slotted molten whip on stamDK parses just for it's proc (without using it), so you may guess that on magDK it rocks.We need dps testing to see if the spell damage increase to ardent abilities is overall better than the overall damage you get from flame last procs for pve.
