What do you think will happen when they run out of zones to add to Tamriel? Will we get to go to Oblivion or perhaps Akavir?

Well my guess is they will add second parts of the regions we already have, we do not have whole Skyrim, we do not even have whole Vvardenfell although it would just be Sheogorad (north region), we do not have whole Black Marsh, we do not have whole Elsweyr, we do not have whole Cyrodil and so on. I assume we can be safe for quite some time in Tamriel and than there are other continents.

Agree with @Jamdarius, that we do have countries on Tamriel that are not whole yet. So we have quiet abit of space for the next 5-7 years, there could be a skyrim chapter. There are also daedric planes of existence, the main princes realms with also minor ones like soul cairn. Also there are maybe planes of Aetherius we might get to explore.

Also in the future once Tamriel is whole, there are other continents, Akavir, Yokuda (did it really sink or did the left hand elves recreate the continent), Pyandonea, Atmora, Plus others that are not yet in the lore.

There is plenty of content to come. :)

I do think there are going by race with content at the moment with chapter format, Wrothgar (pre-chaper)-Orc, Vvardenfell-Dunmer, Summerset-Altmer, Elsweyr-Khajiit. There are another 6 to go.

I mean no offense. You are just limited in your knowledge, there is a ton of content for new zones and even the current map has plenty of room for alot more.

After all zones are in the game they need to do an ESO remaster of sorts revamp some of the base game zones with a few new quests after the main quests, smooth out the borders so each zone is more open instead of each zone being surrounded by moutains or other obstacles etc...

Pyandonea would be great for a chapter. We could finally get to see the immortal King Orgnum, and the mists and storms surrounding the isle would be very beautiful as a backdrop.

They could also have a chapter about an attempt to recolonize what remains above sea level of Yokuda.

Or an archaeological expedition to Atmora that unearths dark secrets and dangers that plague the expedition and threatens Tamriel if not contained.

There's also Thras, too, of course, although how the Sload would react to the presence of adventurers there, I don't know how that would work out too well.

And yes, Oblivion realms, Daedric Prince Planes, Demi-Prince Planes, and other planes in Oblivion are an endless potential for places to explore. It would be very nice to get to go to one of the Princes planes for reasons other than hostile invasion.

There's a lot of cool potential for Daedric culture and society to explore, that what we see with Lyranth, is only the tip of the iceberg. The reason for why we can walk freely and interact with Daedra without them immediately trying to rip out throats out is simple: We could be there to perform a service for the Daedric Prince and thus given immunity to anyone loyal to that prince on pain of whatever torment Daedra could receive if they break it.

Why would the Vestige even bother to agree to help said Prince, or why would they need a mortal's help? Well there's a lot of possible reasons for that too. Personally, I still think Falinesti is in some Oblivion plane somewhere, and the promise of being able to work toward bringing it back would go a long way to incentivise any adventurer to deal with a Daedra's problems. Besides, haven't you ever wondered what a Daedric city in the Spiral Skein looks like, or the Coloured Rooms?

If I were to guess though, I think the first of these non-tamriel Chapters could be the recolonization of Yokuda attempt. It's a good way to explore Redguard and Yokudan lore without actually going deeper into Hammerfell zones, leaving some of the mystery of Hammerfell intact for TES6 to reveal, while also expanding into it, to perhaps even give us more questions about Hammerfell/Redguard lore that we'll get answered with TES6 in Hammerfell. 2022 would be a good year for a Yokuda chapter.

Its going to be a while before they run out of zones to add in the Tamriel worldspace. Considering we get 1 chapter sized zone and 1 DLC sized zone every year, they won't be running out of Tamriel any time soon.

But to answer your question, they could add new islands off the coasts of the continent, or different planes of Oblivion. Remember how Solstheim didn't exist before Bloodmoon? And how Khenarthi's Roost didn't exist before ESO? They could invent a new island that has been "lost for centuries." I doubt we'll ever go to Akavir, not in ESO or even in the mainline games. During the recent TES 25th anniversary panel, Todd Howard was asked if the Dwarves would ever return, and he said the great thing about mysteries like the Dwemer or Akavir, is that its a mystery, you don't know and never will know.
So the Dark Elves have weird alien architecture, where people live in mushroom towers and the shell of a giant crab, but the High Elves, the pinnacle of technology, the most magically advanced race in Tamriel, are still stuck in slightly pretty, fairly tall stone buildings? Not even a hint of a glass city? Are stainless glass windows really enough to claim that a city is made of glass?
