PvPers have to spend hundreds of hours on PvE in order to be a decent pvper while pvers just need 2 hours of zerg surfing in Cyro to get caltrops and vigor + the ocasional events.
Pvers: "Oh Zos why you force us to go to pvp zones??" So cute

What is sad is a few trolls dressed up as PvP'rs feel the need to hide near quest hubs and gank players that are just trying to turn in a quest. There is no benefit to it other than causing grief to others. It isn't PvP any more than killing a skeever is competing for the leader board in trials.
Quit acting like it is PvP and just be honest. You like to cause other people grief for no reason. The AP isn't good and you run and hide if someone shows up that might actually be able to last more than a second or two.
The PvP community is small enough, no need to chase away players who might try it again if they have a half decent experience during this event.
Danuviel is right most players are giving each other a pass around the quest hubs. It is just a few trolls wrecking what could otherwise be a good experience for players new to Cyrodiil. Hiding in a storeroom so three or four of you can stun a player turning in a quest and then kill them before they recover isn't PvP it is pathetic.
Tired of being killed in Cyrodiil while doing dailies? Adapt! Have you ever thought about speed /stealth builds?
Nope, you are lazy and you run your Alcast's copy-pasted build and you complain about being getting killed.
Have you thought about being stamblade vampire Orc wearing Coward's Gear & Jailbreaker, S&B?
How about petsorc vampire Breton using Prisoner's Rags & Necropotence and spamming Streak?
Swift jewelry? Speed potions? Steed mundus? CC immunity potions?
How they can kill you if they can't catch you? Or if they can't see you? Or both?!
So how about you come up with something more creative before you complain next time?
It will benefit you also after event - skyshards, quests, dailies etc. also exist in Cyrodiil.

Our PvPers should do the same since 90% of other people I see running around are often just using the same copy and paste youtube builds as eachother. Never thinking outside of the box, never building something unique or trying a good play style.
I.e the stamden zerg meta slaves.
I saw a bomb zerg yesterday and I was actually happy, it was refreshing not hearing steel tornado and sub assault constantly. Probably wont see another for months.

Dunno what platform you play on but most of the players I know use their own builds.
This is the worst event I don’t PvP and being forced to do it while people are just stood at the quest giver killing you over and over is not my idea of fun at all!

You can still get this week stile the last week of the event by doing pure pve stuff.
ZOS is not forcing anyone to do anything, you are forcing yourself into this
I don’t have a problem with going into a PVP zone to get event rewards and dealing with the risks associated, but it is kind of weird the way ZOS mixed PVP with PVE in Cyrodiil. The various quest givers in towns and the like provide no interest to pure PVP players. It’s mainly the battles centered around the control points on the map that provide them the rewards they are looking for. Certainly, the AP gained from town quests is miniscule.
In an event like this, it is easy to see the huge disparity in goals both groups have. Entering one campaign that was pop locked for yellow, with one or two bars on the red and blue sides, it was funny to see yellow dominating the three towns, with red dominating most of the rest of the map. I would argue that the large influx of undoubtedly yellow PVE oriented players was actually hurting the competitiveness of the main campaign.
With the upcoming separation of the Imperial City from the campaign, I could see ZOS taking this a bit further, and enabling a new PVE only campaign, with completely free zone travel and permanently neutral keeps, but zero AP rewards. Leave the remaining PVP campaigns free of unnecessary load from people contributing nothing to the PVP experience.
Having said that, I wish ZOS would come up with something a bit more interesting for the PVP community than the same five year old Cyrodiil campaign and the hit and miss battlegrounds. How about large scale goal oriented trials between rival factions, or ranked small scale battle arenas built into the various existing zones that other players could spectate and perhaps even bet on?
