I don’t want to buy 3 out of 4 for one version only to have it switch on me.

Overall process is:

Buy 4 distinct feathers. (All four are available whenever the Impresario vendor is active, ie during the events).
Make a Nascent Indrik.
Buy 4 distinct berries of a set (green Indrik berries are gone, current events provide gold Indrik berries. Vendor offers 3 of the 4 now, and will offer all four as of next Thursday).
Use the 4 berries to evolve the Indrik to that berry set's color. You will lose the Nascent and need to make a new one to evolve a second color. You can start getting more feathers right away once you have made a Nascent, but likely should focus on berries first due to the restricted time for getting those.

Berries and Feathers are 10 tickets each. Right now you get 2 tickets a day just for eating your 2019 Jubilee Cake. Including today's cake and assuming you eat some on the very last day of the overall event before the 10 am eastern May 9 end, there are 42 tickets left to get. You already have 10 tickets, so you can easily get all the berries for the gold Indrik and put any excess to feathers to get another Nascent to evolve with the next berry set.

Tickets are also available for 250 crowns each in the store if you need to fill out your stash of them, if you have the resources and willingness to buy them there. Remember you have a 12 ticket cap so don't buy more than you can hold.

You need 4 feathers and 4 berries for each mount.

4 feathers make a nascent indrik. 4 berries evolve it into an adult (brightly coloured) version and removes the nascent from your collection. So then you need another 4 feathers to make another nascent to evolve if you want another colour.

Now.. I need 10 tickets for each feather and berries so I need 4*10+4*10=80 tickets. In this season I'll receive max 72 tickets (excluding buying with crowns). Only to me don't seem a big deal? :P

It's only a "big deal" if you're one of the people who's compelled to Catch 'Em All. If you just want the basic Indrik, you only need the four feathers. If you just want one color of Special Indrik, you just need 4 feathers + 4 berries. Etc.
(And the feathers for the basic mount, people have been collecting since last year. Yeah, it sucks for someone just starting now, but... it's a long-term project, it's not necessarily intended that someone be able to get all 80 tickets in one 'season' of berries.)


edit: and if you want the current season's "special" mount, but don't have the feathers yet - buy the berries first! You can always get the rest of the feathers during next 'season', since they're always the same & aren't "limited time".

It is nice to see people who have an opinion and this has to be the opinion of all... And saying that someone have said something that he did not say.

I did first Indrik mount event and I get Nascent Indrik mount. If a person started this event at the beginning, without have feather by event before can't have the mount (without buy feathers by crowns or without waiting next event). I'm not so interested in Indrik mounts anyway personally I don't like this. Do you like? Good for you, your opinion.
