Strange how things change...
Surely, surely there is something that can be done to minimize the pure toxic behavior during a festival where there is an influx of the "Cyrodiil Tourists"?
Previously serious PvP players would, in general, let questers be, especially around quest hubs but omw how different it is this time during the anniversary event.
BUT WITH THIS EVENT groups of 30+ gankers wait in ambush or harass players who are completely out of their depth and all they do is give someone who might have thought about joining the campaign war a firm resolution to never do so.
IDEAS:
- Placing a circle of sanctuary around quest givers similar to what players have when going through a door in Imperial City.
- Lower the AP value to almost nothing around the Cyrodiil towns for the duration of the event.
Thoughts, experiences, ideas, suggestions to desalt Cyrodiil for the period of the event?

I bet you’d vacation in Syria, then complain to the government for not making it safer. If you want to play war tourist, you accept the risk of death.
Previously the towns weren’t part of the alliance war transit system. Now they are, making them strategically important. Quester don’t get a pass at war objectives.

As in, have an actual battle, don't take down the poor souls who aren't fighting back.I bet you’d vacation in Syria, then complain to the government for not making it safer. If you want to play war tourist, you accept the risk of death.

If a group is honestly trying to take a town then cool. But there have been people in towns just to take out the pve folks and who don't take the town.
No, you chose to go into a PvP zone and you get farmed. Cry about it.
Don’t like it? Don’t go into cyro

Funny thing is they closed my thread about the state of this event apparently for review which takes them more now around day, we had 1 thread where players typed what they thought and ideas, now we have multiple thread asking the same things... typical behaviour of forum mods.
Now I can give you an idea how to survive the mess of the event (it worked for me and my buddies for 2 days since event started).
1.Lure the gankers on full speed-fully upgraded mount (don't get 2 close as apparently NB gap closer can keep up with mount speed and will hunt you down with using it as spammable).
2.The rest of the team while ganker dogs are busy chasing your teammate get the quests,
3. Share those quests
4. Do the quests
5. Repeat Step 1 to deliver quests
6. Rotate players that lure gankers away so that they will not rage about being killed 2 many times.
7. Optional: Shout in the zone chat where gankers are (to warn others), and that you need help with them, some players love to come and hunt them down like a rabid dogs they are.
This method allowed me and my fellas to do all quests in Cheydinhal and to my surprise even all quests in Cropsford.
Sure it took longer, sure we were killed sometimes but we did it.

This mentality helps no one. It's like if I said 'getting kicked out if dungeon/trial groups? Just part of how it works! Don't like it, don't do dungeons.'
I'd be more inclined to agree with you if I hadn't seen the good side of PvP players, the ones I've had good in and out of battle interactions with.
