I did mention I had quest at beginning of dungeon, little did it help. That sucks. Who designs these dungeons and quests? I

    Tell your group you are doing the quest so they are aware you need to turn it in.

    Did you tell anyone you were on the quest?
    Personally I have never had everyone leave before I could turn in a quest after I said I was doing quest and asked someone to wait a minute at the end.

    I type quest at end of last fight or when I need to stop.

    If you think that's bad , try banished cells 1. It took me three times once to get that one done. I will say the majority of the time if I say I'm doing the quest and ask people to wait in a dungeon they are nice enough to do so.

    yeah usually if you tell people you have the quest they will wait - sorry for your bad experience but this seems to be the absolute exception

    This is one thing that absolutely pisses me off. I'll say I need the quest but the Crown will still disband at the end. I'll ask for the Crown to be passed to me so I can ensure I can turn in the quest and I'll be ignored. I wish they would revert to the way things used to be.

    Oh, better yet. You run the dungeon and people wait for you and then you destroy the relic and take the portal and then YOU are the one who leaves the group without realizing that you still need to talk to the NPC to hand in the quest. >_<

    Yeah I agree, the majorityu of times players are nice.There's just this once in a while in certain dungeons where you have to run and do some stuff after the last boss is dead, wait for the NPC to blabber on about his/her thing before being allowed to turn in the quest, all the while the "removing from area" timer is ticking down because everyone left. yrgh... great design.

    I don't know how well it would actually work but having a setting or even separate queue for "Story Mode" or something to indicate you're doing the quest would be cool.

    Absolutely. But people have been complaining about this issue for years and no development or change has ever happened to it, so I fear it wont ever happen. But it would be really cool I agree.

    Well, admittedly it does not happen often, most players are nice. But it has happened enough on multiple alts to make me dread doing those particular dungeons where this can happen. It wouldnt be a problem if ZOS would just allow a little extra time before removing from area. We are talking like 1 minute or something like that, it's so little it wont have an effect on their servers.

    I simply type "quest" or "quest here" and never had trouble. If I don't type, however... Then yeah, gotta rush!

    I still don't know why there isn't a Story mode option for dungeons. I haven't the slightest idea what any of the dungeon quests were about beyond a base level because I have never had time to listen to dialogue.

    Maybe get a casual guild? That's where you find the fun people... They'll go with you.

    I power leveled one of my characters from 1-50 and when I started doing dungeons, everyone assumed I was joking when I said I was doing quest.

    They would LOL then leave immediately.

    I save certain dungeon quests to get certain pieces of gear at cp 160 so I wait to do those quests (i.e. Blackheart Haven).

    It is really frustrating trying to turn in quest when everyone just wants to leave.

    IDEA: Let us have the option to turn in quest the moment the last boss dies. By the time everyone jumps ship, you have the quest turned in before you get kicked from the dungeon.

    No one needs to hear the dialogue at the end of the dungeon anyways. We've already heard 1,000x over.

    One of the reasons why i try to solo each and every dungeon. There's no kick timer if you enter solo ...
