Need help for a friend.

OK, for once It's not about me. We have a situation.
One of my good friend has 2 guilds, he's a bit differently able individual but good at heart. He might have hard time understanding complex scenarios and situations, as we do. Now he felt that he should give one of his guild to someone else (both guilds are very small, 10-15 people only), So he demote himself and promoted a random guy to guild master position, then he put all of his gold accidentally in that guild bank instead of guild where he's GM.
Now problem is, Guy he promoted to GM hasn't been online for 2 months (around the time Resident Evil 2 released), From his name and time of his disappearance, I can deduce that It was around the time Sony Patched to block jailbreaked PS4 (right before release of RE2), So he's not coming back online. My friend has never even had 50K at the same time in years and during this festival with all motif we helped him sell, he had more than 700K and he put his entire fortune somewhere he can't take out.
Please understand he's different, he can't assess complex situations, actions and outcome as us. Last couple of weeks been good for him, I felt it's improving his confidence and helping a bit in his rehabilitation, this would be a huge setback for him. What can we do here ? Please keep an open mind, please don't judge him by ordinary standards, This thing would have effects beyond his gaming life.

Marisana✭✭✭I guess your best chance would be to open a support ticket for your friend and give Support all the details there - date of the transaction, transaction sum, the account of your friend, guild name etc. I think that is your best chance to see if Zenimax can negate/reverse that transfer and put the gold back on your friend's account.

The_Art_of_Paw✭✭✭I have done a similar thing myself once. I submitted a ticket to request the leadership change to be undone.
From what I researched at the time that it happened to me, it can go both ways. Depends on how the ticket is viewed and who is in charge of resolving it.
For me, they granted my request and put me back as leader to make the adjustments needed. The process took about 2-3 weeks from memory but was very simple once the ticket was seen to.
As you have submitted the ticket, try to be patient on the waiting. I know it is frustrating and you might feel they will never answer it. Just try to encourage your friend to stay in the guild until it gets resolved.
Good luck on it, this does occur to many so I hope that helps you encourage him to keep up hope that it will be resolved to his liking2 -

Because the support does strange things in situations like this. Being the highest officer increases the chances of getting leadership back.1 -

He and another guys who's not been online for 3 months are co GM, but he created guild and up until 4 days back, he was GM. I joined guild and checked roster, he 4 days back demoted himself and then promoted a level 3 guy to GM, who hasn't been on for 2 months. My guess is that guy just once logged in ESO forever and fren probably added him to get to magic number of 10, so he can have guild bank.0 -
DocDova✭✭✭Little update- I got reply for my ticket, they said friend need to submit one from his account, we are in process, first he need to login on support site, he need to dig up his first email from eso and recover his account.
We would be helping him with this, thing is he has made his peace with situation that he has lost his gold, I want him to realize you don't leave what's yours without giving your efforts. I just hope it get resolved easily without beaurocratic hurdles.
