PC EU Players: What is your experience with game performance after upgrade?

Like in the topic. Do you feel improvement in game performance? Is it better, same or worse? What activities you do the most and did the upgrade improved your experience?

In my case I PvP most of the time in Cyrodiil. I need to admit that I really feel improvement. It's still not perfect but it's a lot better, don't know though is it only because of upgrade or also because of players spread out due to event. Nevertheless I had pretty fun experience yesterday, I was able to break free without issues, skills were responsive, I had just a little bit more delay when in large scale. In general I'm pretty happy with the change.

"We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available."
— They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.

I saw massive improvement when listing items on my Guild Stores, no delay, I must admit it was really nice!!

Btw I have never used Awesome Guild Store addon so my posting delays were not due to that. :)
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

Fast log in. Long loading screens.

Mostly it’s fine, which is a significant improvement.

Odd moments of total lag, where everything freezes then leaps forward at stupid speed. There doesn’t seem to be any trigger for this, it just happens. Obviously it’s most noticeable in combat.

One thing I am getting is flashbacks, where you’re suddenly deposited about 5 seconds back in game time. No screenfreeze, just instant time slippage. Again this can happen anywhere at any time.

Given the Cyrodiil queues, there does still seem to be a lack of server/processing capacity at the moment. If there wasn’t, why would you force people to queue for over an hour to get into campaigns rather than open new ones?

About Cyrodiil queues: limits in campaigns remained unchanged to improve performance. What's the point of improving hardware to overload them again resulting in no change? Long queues to Cyrodiil are there because of event, that's all.

About the lag spikes. I haven't noticed anything like that when connecting directly to ESO, though when I tried to use Mudfish similar things started to happen. Do you use any VPN?

Not sure. With all the maintenance it's hard to test. I'll give my opinion closer to primetime anyway, not early in the morning when there's barely anyone logged in

I noticed longer loading screens, guild traders seen to be the same as before queues, dungeon finder a little better BUT... while playing BGs there is something weird going on, pressing skills and nothing happens, trying to use pots and there is a delay or they are not used at all! Ping is the same as before but now it seems like the server doesn't regist some of my actions. Other people were complaining of the same. Not sure if this is related to the pvp week of the anniversary but either way it sucks.

Played last night as a test, but despite the logon queue being removed, the game is still very disappointing in terms of performance. It simply is a sluggish play experience. e.g. the combat ought to be fun and dynamic but instead, it's unresponsive and skills often do not fire on demand.

I unsubbed and refunded my Elsweyr pre-order, can't really see me playing ESO much more unless there's a radical overhaul. There are plenty of better games out there.

Sorry to hear that, I have unsubbed to when the problems with performance became really bad so I'm not into sticking with ESO no matter what, but after yesterday evening I really consider resub, because as I said in peek hours where queue for Sotha was around 150, everything was running pretty smooth for me (smooth when it goes to ESO ofc) need to test this for a longer period of time though, if this will keep up, then ZOS you have my money.

I was really positive surprised since my skills all WORKED without any noticeable delay and that was with a pop locked campaign. I really hope this will stay and was not just some side effect of less ball grps or something else. Had so much fun with a working cyro yesterday.
Ice Furnace: This item set now grants Spell Damage, rather than Weapon Damage for the 4 piece bonus
