Nerfing NB into the ground. Thanks.

*edit* No but really. The ONLY thing I wanted more than an avg ping of 300-350 (Australian) was to be nerfed. Even better I am lucky enough to have just this ONE character since I got to 96% of all pve achievements at one point. So almost unplayable ping, a heavy nerf all for the cheap price of $60AUD and my monthly $15 sub fee. I'm surprised you didn't ask for more.

Sarcasm aside.. ZOS can you take me out for dinner [snip]

Edit for inappropriate remark.]

The only thing that needs to be reworked is Grim Focus and its morphs. As someone who plays a magblade, I don’t have any issues with it losing minor berserk; I do, however, take issue with spending resources on a skill that doesn’t actually give me any benefit until I’ve used five light attacks (and even then, the bow proc can be dodged, meaning that you’ve wasted magicka twice for absolutely nothing). Give Grim Focus and its morphs Major Sorcery/Major Brutality on initial activation, and it becomes useful again without being OP.

Thanks for the update! I didn't realize they chose nightblades to be the first class nerfed in the history of the game!

Snarky, yes, but my nb will be just fine, thank you very much.

I actually have a picture in my head of her walking up to my Templar and dk head held low, saying "so this is what that feels like, huh?"

One day, we're going to have to get all the threads like this from each class balance and see which class took it the worst.

What are they supposed to do about your geographical location-- I don't understand why people complain about this. I'm sorry there's no oceanic server but I definitely wouldn't be spending the amount of money I spend for that high of ping to play this game, I'd play something else. IDGI.

A lot of the lag is actually artificial, introduced by Akamai's trashy routing. When I first started the game back in mid 2016, my ping was about 210-240, occasionally dipping below 200 on really good days. A year later, ping became 250-300. Another year later, 300-350. And now, without a VPN, my ping is 400-600. Playing with a VPN that optimises the path my traffic takes through the world (skipping Akamai's trashy routing) brings my ping back down to 250-300.

Fixing our ping isn't a matter of opening a new megaserver, it's a matter of contacting Akamai, asking what the hell is going on, and getting us moved off of the *** routing we have currently, because that's the whole issue.

I was surprised but this turned out to be untrue, the lag seems to be dude to the ESO client using to many ports and most routers dont handle this well, turned out ZoA design is the problem

Wanna lose the lag change your connection to Ip6 only instead of iov4, ipv6 doesn't need a nat to route the network

Anecdotally I think NBs are easily in the lead.

That doesn't explain why I can quite literally turn my VPN on and off, and see a predictable jump in my ping when I do so. Especially when the VPN is taking my traffic from Sydney directly over to the US, bypassing the Singapore Akamai scrubbing center. Also doesn't explain why this is local to Oceanic regions only, and why the ping has only started to rise recently.

I don't doubt what you say is true, but I don't think it's the issue. You can look at the exact date the Singapore Akamai scrubbing center was opened, and that's around when my ping started to go crazy.

I wouldn't classify myself as "happy," more, "ambivalent." That said, actually playing the changes, things are okay. My stamblade feels like it has a bit more identity in PTS, but, it's not really an upgrade or a downgrade.

I would say, having played the changes, it IS an improvement to the class, it's not really a power change.
