Solutions? - (PVE) Nightblade being gutted, AY being nerfed, Food being nerfed - What now?

Ok so this is for PVE only.
Nightblade is being gutted, AY is being nerfed, Food is being nerfed and these sweeping changes really truly suck. That being said, I'm looking for some sort of solution so I ask you all that are able to keep up with things more thoroughly:
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

- Is there going to be a better dps class that I should start farming gear for now beforehand?
- Will Stamblade still be decent enough to keep my current class?
- With the AY nerf, is there now a better replacement that currently exists that I can start working towards?
- If not, has there been any mention of class change tokens? Constantly gutting classes that we spend $ on for outfit slots among other things forcing us to make new classes and spend more $, while yes it's a strategy, it's an unethical one for sure.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

✭✭I don't think it's nerfed all that hard. It's also buffed a bit. Yes, there's no internal cooldown, but in most cases you couldn't build it up much faster than that, either - not every attack is a melee damage. On another hand, it'll be easier to keep up the stacks now, and you can fit four skill casts on the back bar (instead of three), it will simplify some rotations (say, on stamblade, you will not have to do multiple swaps from the front bar anymore if you'll need to refresh Leeching on back bar - though I suspect that it'll still be beneficial to swap into backbar for Incap before Relentless proc and spammables). So I don't think anything will change with AY update, and some things might even be better. As an alternative set, you can also try Tzogvin's Warband, it has no cooldown and stacks hold for 10 seconds (plus you get Minor Force), should be nicer than AY on live in trash fights and fights with a lot of mechanics.
Stamblade will lose some independence from group buffs, but I believe that in organized group content at least, the class will still feel all right.1 -

4. Every time Class Change Tokens comes up, the lead developers respond 'No' 'Not even under consideration' and 'Way too complicated to be worth while'.
Your stamblade will be fine. Frankly, I've never been impressed enough with AY to bother using my set, despite all the rhetoric from the High Priests of Meta.
There are other builds that are so close to the AY/Rel dogma.
Update 22 is nothing like the changes made with the Morrowind Update, when famous streamers were holding funerals for their characters. That was sweeping. Update 22 is mild tinkering by comparison.
And we're only in PTS patch 5.0

Play magplar. Apparently it's the new top dps class for pve.
Don't bother trying to get into high end trials because you won't be able to show that 40K dummy parse any more with these changesBeta tester November 20130 -

Advancing Yokeda:
Fixed an issue where this set could not proc off abilities such as Rapid Strikes.
Added a 0.5 second internal cooldown from generating a stack, but increased the duration to 6 seconds from 5 seconds.
This is hardly a nerf at all. All in all, it is a buff as it can proc off of more things, and the duration will counter act the 0.5 second delay on stacks.PS4-NA.
