How could clanfear pet be improved in gameplay?

I have never seen this used on tanks and even with health tanks it doesn't synerize well with the spirit of class and role it's supposed to help out.
My suggestion is allow this pet to hold agro or be a decoy for a portion of the fight or why does it have 30k health in first place?
What do you guys think?

Vermethys✭✭✭✭I use it on my Sorc tank, and without it I don't think I'd even bother playing the class as a tank tbh. Sorc doesn't have other reliable heals for tanks.
With 39k max HP, it heals me for 23k so I think it's an excellent ability that fits in the same category as Polar Wind and Green Dragon Blood. It's fine the way it is, in my opinion.PC EU CP1400+

✭✭✭The only gripe I have with Clannfear is that it doesn't actually do anything lol. It can be situationally useful in places like VBRP where it can AFK tank the range boss as long as no one else hits it on Round 4 boss fight - but that's more broken than anything else. I'd like to see Tail Swipe do like Major Maim for 3 seconds. It doesn't happen often, and more often than not it doesn't even hit more than 1 thing, but it would be pretty awesome to have pockets of huge damage reduction for Sorc Tank.0331

Well, it's not my job to do DPS as a tank, so I've never paid attention to the damage the Clannfear does (Crusher, Major Fracture/Breach, Alkosh, and Warhorn are more than enough) -- it's only there as a burst heal. It costs much less than Igneous + GDB and is more reliable (doesn't need you to be at ~50% health to be effective). I'm not implying that the ability is perfect, but it's okay the way it is. I mention it because they are doing a pass on under preforming skills. I think for a 30k health with some magicka dps on physical damage it's under performing in giving sorc tanks really class identity.
Templar tanks now - off offbalance with their indentity, Nb tanks got better usage of fear. Warden tanks got better group heals. Necro tank root also buffs allies. Dk tanks are the same.0
