There are plenty of reasons. Account security, accidental crown purchases by children playing with daddies/mommies phone, bots running programs for the farming you suggested, the amount of in app adds for the crown store, bandwidth issues, performance of the base game being impacted by resources redirected to the mobile platform.....I could go on.
No. There is an elder sctolls mobile in development. It is all about microtransactions.
They make you pay to shorten the time it takes to open a chest. All rewards earned are on a timer after earning to open. The better reward earned the longer the wait after earning it to open, unless of course you pay then they shorten the time.
It is the worst of gaming psychological manipulation for profit I have ever seen.

i think you missed the point entirely. OP is asking for an ESO mobile version, so you can play the game (which sounds a bit unrealistic for mobile devices) or, what i think they actually mean, a mobile app to keep track of crafting research, view the crown store, etc.
it would still be ESO, the game of which you are on the forum for, the same Elder Scrolls Online I can safely assume you play and enjoy. not sure what your point about Blades here is supposed to mean, with that in mind.

I did not miss it. I am just convinced Zen would turn ESO into a microtransaction nightmare similar to Blades effectively ruining the game.

why? it would still be the same game. this sounds like a problem that doesn't exist that you've created in your own mind to be honest.

LOL have you not been paying attention to how Zen has been monetizing the game in the crown store?
Yes my reasoning on this may be a bit of a slippery slope but it is far from un-plausible

I explain my concerns, and you don’t counter them, you redirect the discussion? You don’t want a real discussion. You can take your pink jelly phone case and play Candy Crush until you bring real discussion to the table.

Crown crates are a random reward you do not earn but instead buy. What I am talking about is earning something in game and then having to wait to get it or pay for it to get it without waiting for hours or days.
You have to be intelligent enough to see the difference. The rewards I am talking about have already been earned in game thru gameplay.
Waiting to open a reward already earned is assinine. No one earns crates they just buy them, crates are a choice, no effort required.

I counterd them by stating the obvious, that is every one of your concers is just as applicable on a PC, accidental crown purchases by kids, can happen on PC just as easily as on a phone, bots easier to do on a PC, bandwidth issues/performance issues, all applicable on your PC, hpw do you remedy?? Get better hardware, you get my point? I just didnt want to have to spend time spelling it out as i assumed the points were obvious!

So, I actually agree with OP.
While I am against Blizzard's decision to make a mobile Diablo, this is not the case here. Blizzards decision prevents PC players from getting another entry in the Diablo universe, while ESO already has PC client. So there is no disadvantage to us, imo.
I was against mobile gaming for quite a long time, but recently we got a bunch of quite decent old PC games ports there and I start to change my opinion
