No. Performance has been an issue for years and they CHOSE to do nothing.

So we have @ZOS_MattFiror saying they knew about the issue but let it get worse. We have @ZOS_GinaBruno saying a new communication plan is coming...since November, no rush, and
@ZOS_RobGarrett saying "a majority of the bugs and issues faced are not ones everyone encounters or are drastically halting gameplay, as such they need to continue creating content for people who want new content to play and don’t play at the higher level to notice if a skill or mechanic works a little wonky."

    ZO$

I don't play at a high level, in this game, but I have noticed the "wonkiness" virtually since day one.

You don't have to play at a high level to notice if a skill, or mechanic, doesn't work properly.

In fact, you would have to be asleep to not notice it.

Problem with the western culture is that you think everything should have an answer right away. You think technology is 100% stable. And that you think just because you're paying, that you have all the right in the world. Quick answer, you don't. You have signed a ToS, read it up and stop this "customer is always right" attitude. Because honestly, that is just you being self-entitled. I have worked as a tech support for years, and people are so entitled to think that they should get this and that because they're paying, here's news, things break and when they do more often than not it's A.) unexpected and B.) may take a while to fix. So no matter how much you scream, if it's not gonna be fixed within 24-hours, it will NOT. Really makes me ROFL everytime someone demands-- no when someone screams and/or cry, that their connection be right now, when there is nothing I can do about it, because it's a system issue. When you're muted in a tech support call and you're just screaming your heart out, the tech support guy probably have you on speaker mode and have everyone else you listening, while laughing at you! I've done that several times, it's honestly very funny-- hilarious. And honestly, there is nothing anyone can do because the problem will NOT be fixed when YOU want it to be fixed. And yes, feel free to look for another service.

Mate, no one cares what you do in your call centre job.

No one cares if you laugh, or not.

All you're doing is confirming what most people think about the utter uselessness, and unfit-for-purpose nature, of most call centres these days.

...and the problem with you, is that it would appear that you're an utter doormat.

I won't say it's a problem with your culture, as I wouldn't just go ahead and presume that.

Especially as it's more likely to just be a problem with you.

    Not sure for upgrade...
Better wait for fed up player to leave definitely the game, and so, when population will be enough lowered, will come back and say "job done" ^^

    Classic IT resources management ^^

    doing that

I think we can say Arsehole, it's the american spelling of Arse that gets censored.

Like many people here I can only play in the evening due to having a job. Not really got the time to waste in a 25 minute queue every evening.
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

We told ZOS for years now that they need to upgrade the Servers cause Performance is really really Bad.. they never listened or even answered on this topic.

Now servers are overloaded, cant handle the Population anymore. ZOS did a lot of Events to get new players, they must have known the server cant handle so many players. So in the last second they react to this case, saying they upgrade servers but we need to accept the queue they put up now.

Sunday evening, 7pm, Queue was 30 minutes plus. Who wants to wait this long to play a game? No one.

If they would have listened to us, we would have never been at this point now. Ofc we are angry and ZOS deserve all of this hate. And If they dont pump the server Up like crazy and we still have *** Performance after a server Upgrade they will get even more hate. And all of this is deserved.

Because they can't spend money on upgrades unless they absolutely "need" to, or they project that their earnings to supplement the spendings on new hardware.

Just because YOU kept lagging out one night in cyrodiil doesn't mean they need to spend money on new servers. Servers are designed with capacity limits, and if you operate under those limits, there is no reason to spend money. It wasn't until very RECENTLY that they were EXCEEDING those limits.

They can't spend money on servers that support 100k players in the HOPES that MAYBE in a few years we will have enough players to cover the cost of this monstrous server cluster, even though right now we only have like 2k players max on peak times... That's not how it works. They scale performance based on what they think they need, and only spend money on what they need NOT on what they MIGHT need in a few years.

    1. Because he's one of the the very few who ever pointed out that there's been severe lag in Cyrodiil, making it unplayable in a timely or fun manner?
    2. There are claims that they have over 10 million+ users/players/subscribers. They don't all play at once, but many don't play much based on the PITA factor of not being able to play without queues or lag.
    3. 2,000 players? Cite? If a modern AAA MMO with 10 million+ owners of a license to play the game is brought to it's knees with '2,000 players' - something is dreadfully wrong with either the game code, the servers, or it's resources.
The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

Well I pay for ESO+ and it kinda sucks if I can't log in during prime time.I don't play much these days and 15-20 min is a decent chunk of my playtime so I'd prefer to not spend it on a login screen.

and this is exactly why I don't trust companies who "best shore" their IT support to service providers with a couldn't care less attitude. Oh, and things don't just break, they do so for a reason and that is where contingency management prevents customers suffering during periods of outage. I worked in IT for 30 years, programming and support and anyone with your attitude would be first out of the door, assuming you managed to con your way in in the first place
