    We told ZOS for years now that they need to upgrade the Servers cause Performance is really really Bad.. they never listened or even answered on this topic.

    Now servers are overloaded, cant handle the Population anymore. ZOS did a lot of Events to get new players, they must have known the server cant handle so many players. So in the last second they react to this case, saying they upgrade servers but we need to accept the queue they put up now.

    Sunday evening, 7pm, Queue was 30 minutes plus. Who wants to wait this long to play a game? No one.

    If they would have listened to us, we would have never been at this point now. Ofc we are angry and ZOS deserve all of this hate. And If they dont pump the server Up like crazy and we still have *** Performance after a server Upgrade they will get even more hate. And all of this is deserved.

    Yesterday, enqueued for 16 minutes, minimized game, forgot it, got disconnected due to inactivity and was placed into another queue with 24 minutes counter. You could say, that was my fault, but in the end what matters is that it took me 45 minutes to get into the game. Which kind of eats into my playtime.

    So, in short, no. I won't accept this. I reduced my play activities to just refreshing trading listings to stay in my trading guilds. That's all. I was getting more of the game with lags

    Yeah, that's the only thing that was fixed due to lower server population. Also, you need to turn off AGS, because it goes crazy after a few refreshes

    I'm not sure we're getting a noticeable change in the servers. A lot of talk but no action or bug fixing

    Hell no.

    It's not just a matter of being patient while we wait for the hardware upgrade, it's also a matter of communication with customers.

    The servers have been sub-par for a while, but they have been REALLY awful for a few months now. Lots of us signaled the problem, but ZOS tried to sneak that one under the rug, ignoring or blatantly deleting posts refering to the issue. And it's not just an hardware issue either, it's the whole "we don't give a darn about what you say and won't even boher to reply on any matter". Racial "balance" ? They ignored every feedback from testers and went with some of the most absurd changes ever, like making Bosmers bad sentries instead of thieves, for instance, or every other change that only benefits PvP. Crown store ? It's been over a year since people asked them to reconsider the absurd pricing of outfit slots, to name one thing, which are so stupidly overpriced that they are on sale every now and then because they simply can't sell them.

    Oh, and let's mention the "upgraded" guild stores. They are so slow that most searches take 10 times the time they used to (at least for someone who use Awesome Guild Stores), when they don't just fail because "couldn't get request" or whatever. It's no longer possible to filter using several categories at once (like, consumable, all housing plans but no food or drink), probably because the new API is half-arsed. Basically, if you used addons for trading before, everything was way better. Now, it's an improvement for people without addons, in terms of functionalities, but it's incredibly less responsvive and it only implements half what a good addon would have had, all the while blocking some functionalities from same addons.

    Maybe this all pertains to servers being unreliable. Maybe the code is half-baked. Maybe both. One sure thing is, as time goes the quality of service doesn't feel like it's improving.

    Also, I've been in this line of work. You don't need a fortnight to improve hardware when it's an emergency. And after 3 months of MacGyvering the datacenter, it IS an emergency. When you have to resort to such measures as keeping paying customers out of the use of the service they pay for, it is an emergency, if for nothing else, at least for your own bottom line.

    You can order whatever hardware you need and have it delivered the next day. Even the same day, if you pay for it. Then it takes a few days to set it up, configure it and have it running properly. You may need some downtime to synchronise data, depending on how it was set up in the first place. After 3 months of pondering, they should know exactly what hardware they need, whom to order it from, and how they are going to set it up. Back in my days in IT, we would have done that within 3 days. Hardware shiping time included. Granted, we did alot of overtime back then for such situations, so maybe they'd need a week.

    Basically, server upgrades should already be over, and that is if I accept the idea that they prefered MacGyvering for months before actually starting to work on a proper solution. Which I do not.

    I've seen amateurs run private servers more diligently than this company.

    We have been patient enought the past 12+ months for a solution to come.
    They did nothing to prevent this, ... they did nothing to avoid our rage.

    Now the $hit has hit the fan.
    If you don't enjoy it, i would advise you to do something else, perhaps go and straight look at an empty loading screen...

    Only if they did it 2.5yrs ago, we may have retained a lot of players that quit because of *** performance.

    IDC, but I can understand the old player too.
    The 1str time I get perf problem I go on google to find solution.
    And find thread about this problem from 2017 and even 2015, heck it's since 4year ago ESO seem to have server issue reported by player.
    OFC lot of player are angry about it.

    How would you like to pay me to fix your bathroom, and I fix the toilet but you can only flush it every 3 days because it has a performance issue. Would you be pleased then? Lol

    People pay a monthly subscription to have 30+ minute que times, terrible lag, at times this game is unplayable but it is okay because it took them 3 years to realize they should upgrade the servers? No this should have been something fixed a while ago especially with the amount of money they are getting from crown store.

    People have been paying subs+buying all their ridiculously high priced crown items and yet where does all that money they earn go? We share servers with fallout 76 why? Yep our money seems to have funded a failed game that makes our gaming experience worse so everyone should have a right to be upset.

    And again if your not upset please hire me to do your work as it definitely seems like it is easy to rip you off as you have very very very low expectations.

    No. Performance has been an issue for years and they CHOSE to do nothing.

    So we have @ZOS_MattFiror saying they knew about the issue but let it get worse. We have @ZOS_GinaBruno saying a new communication plan is coming...since November, no rush, and
    @ZOS_RobGarrett saying "a majority of the bugs and issues faced are not ones everyone encounters or are drastically halting gameplay, as such they need to continue creating content for people who want new content to play and don’t play at the higher level to notice if a skill or mechanic works a little wonky."

    Not sure for upgrade...
    Better wait for fed up player to leave definitely the game, and so, when population will be enough lowered, will come back and say "job done" ^^
