Deadly Strike buff question

Does anyone know if the Deadly Strike set buffs bloodthirst or steel tornado? Or is it just like venomous claw and noxious breath?

You might have some things mixed up here.

Deadly Strike 5th piece buffs your physical, bleed, poison and disease damage over time effects. Nothing else.

Bloodthirsty increases damage against low health targets. All sources of damage are affected whether dots or direct.

Steel Tornado is a direct damage ability so it doesn't get affected by Deadly Strike at all. Steel Tornado also increases damage to low health targets, this stacks with bloodthirsty.

I meant bloodthirst the morph of flurry. Sorry for the typo.

I'm wondering if he actually meant bloodthirst (Flurry morph). It's considered a physical DoT, so yes, I believe it does buff that. Steel tornado... no, not a chance.

I meant bloodthirst the morph of rapid strikes.

Yeah seems like I confused that. If Bloodthirst behaves like it's description (which we can never be 100% sure in ESO) then it will be 5 direct damage attacks and therefore not be buffed by deadly strike. Easiest way to test it would be to look at the tooltip of Bloodthirst and then change your thaumaturge CP. If the damage changes then it's considered a damage over time ability and will most likely be affected. Just make sure you look at the skill from the same bars without buffs running etc.

I did look at the tooltip. It was around 1.5/1.6k per strike, which is higher than I usually see it. Keep in mind that flurry procs sets like skoria, which only proc on DoTs.
