It was been 48 hours now that my character has been locked, likely due to my character name. I changed my character name, have gone back and forth through email with customer support to change my UserID, and STILL not unlocked. The most recent email I got back almost 24 hours ago said:

I was able to successfully update your account to the UserID. You will have no issue with signing in with this new name. It can just take a little time for it to update properly across all of our databases.

I then had to email them back AGAIN that the problem STILL isn't fixed and haven't heard back. Just don't get it... Why does it take a million times of contacting support and they can't even fix the problem yet keep telling me it's fixed. They can create this awesome game but can't unlock a character after 5+ emails back and forth?
