My opinion on housing.

This one would only like one thing in regards to housing.
Let our pets follow us around in our homes, the same as they do everywhere else.
This is probably no easy thing to do, this one understands.
Our summons however, can follow us without issue, so we know that it is possible.

It will be nice if there was something like daily "visit random primary residence". For participating in that and spending minimum 10 minutes moving inside, person receives 50k XP (daily + transmute), also in the end there is some kind of short evaluation, like grade etc.. then once a week 25 best houses receive notable rewards and are open to visit by community. Same house can't get to leaderboard more often then once a year etc

    It's too expensive.

    It's of no use whatsoever.

    There are no good furnishings.

    It's unwanted.

    It's unneeded.

It's just a way for folks with too much gold to rub it in the noses of everybody who doesn't.

    JMHO.

Anyone and everyone can make gold. There are a variety of ways to make gold. You just need to put in time and effort so I resent your comment about rich people wanting to rub peoples' noses in it. I put in a lot of time to farm mats, do my writs, pickpocket, collect motifs to sell etc ...that's how I made all my gold and fishing back in the day. I am happy to share my home and I would rent out rooms to other players for free if I could. So I think it's unfair to make such generalised comments.

There are some great furnishings....nothing in this game is needed as such...it's a game...about having fun remember? If players enjoy housing it doesn't mean they are all stuck up and it doesn't mean they don't participate in other areas of the game.

Lots of people are asking for hair dyes...we don't need it but it would be fun. Heck we dont even need armour or weapons, we could run around naked and slap or punch mobs.....some skills could even be eye gouging or hair pulling

Also it's not unwated when hundreds or more players obviously want it....hence all the posts about housing.

book cases... WITH BOOKS! Again the response to this has been slow and frankly lukewarm. We got 3 new filled book cases while the dev team continue to populate the new furnishings every DLC with things nobody has asked for.

This. Also, when you collect books they should actually fit on a bookcase.

Bookshelves that can hold the books we collect? Heresy!

Thing is they could actually fix some of the limiting things by offering things that make sense and yet reduce number counts such as
    1. Stair- short medium long extra long
    2. wall short med long
    3. Garden small medium Large Extra large
    4. Offer more sets of items such as mug quanity 1 quan 5 etc

Generally offering things already connected together 1 item makes sense

I think thats a very fair point. I mean just addong plates with food already on them reduced the item count by like 6 per plate.

I'd actually say bookshelves should be interactable, so you can populate a shelf with any book out of your library. Then you could read the bookshelves same as bookshelves in the rest of ESO.

This would be cool. Sort of like the system Skyrim had
