Rvenspire is a masterpiece of a zone
Seriously, if you have yet to go to rivienspire you have to go there. This zone IS elder scrolls, its a big zone with many areas to explore, with like 4 public dungeons in it! its areas are leveled in a way that once you hit level 22, you can go anywhere in this zone, and do anything. Its well done, and i hope to see more zones like this.

the zone is very well built, and the first time I saw the Crypt of Hearts dungeon entrance I was in awe. The quest storylines help sell the zone too, as everything is so deliciously screwed up. Loved this zone all the way around. 1 -

ramladu_ESOSoul ShrivenI haven't been to Crypt of Hearts yet, but that dungeon always felt to me like the defining area of TES: Arena. I was happy to see they included it (tangent: I hope they work the other 7 staff dungeons from Arena into the game at some point - I'd especially love to see a modern version of Fang Lair).
Otherwise, Rivenspire definitely feels more interesting than the previous zones. The recurring "possessed because of nightmares" theme in Stormhaven got tiring about halfway through.1 -

I'll admit I was startled by the design of the zone. You have a very gothic inspired landscape, twisted dead trees, spiky cliffs, crypt ruins, an evil spire, vampires and undead everywhere... and rainbow butterflies and green healthy looking areas.
It's a very contrasted zone, but it pulls it off.1 -
