    Go talk to him and he'll stop. (really)

    Its the wrap up from the Wasten Coraldale delve quest that you didn't finish. Tell him to talk to his daughter and you will never hear him sing again.

    Make the singing minstrel NPCs murderable! then music hating assassins can finally have their revenge!
    Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

    Yeah, he only sings it on one particular character for me, so I figured it must be a quest or something I had or hadn't completed properly. Doesn't do it on the other characters I take in there, so I ignore him.

    Killing tavern bards is one of my favorite pastimes in Skyrim.
