and the most insane thing is that people still defend @ZOS even here in the comment section they will
and people still buy ESO+ (because it's almost impossible to play w/ out it) and buy items from crown store
now I already foresee something like "don't like it - don't play" but the thing is I LOVE ESO and my heart bleeds when I see how fragile is my dear rising star
this is definitely NOT acceptable producer-consumer relations, @ZOS treat us like *** (at least PC EU) players
I sometimes feel like they won't care and won't have ANY losses If all EU PC players quit ESO at once
*Insert joke about 30 people working in ZOS and 25 of them work on Crown Store*

@ZOS hear us! We don't need flaming/glowing/sparkle mounts or mounts re-textures for 4+k crowns WE WANT to play and ENJOY The Elder Scrolls Online!

Right! How dare Zos attempt to address an issue that was making the game unplayable for everyone by throttling the server to at least make the game playable for limited people at a time while they work on a permanent fix. The outrage! /s

That's sort of eliding the fact that they've known about the growing problem since January. They probably started working on the hardware fixes then, but they sure didn't bother to acknowledge the complaints of PC/EU players on the forums. They also didn't get it fixed before the entirely predictable population spikes at the Anniversary event leading up to Elsweyr.

So whether or not you are okay with the log-in queue as a solution to the recent spike in population, there's still a history of problems leading up to that "solution" that ZOS didn't deal with in a timely fashion before it got to this point.

I'm quite sympathetic to the ZOS techs. I've done enough IT to know that tech upgrades take time.

But I do understand the frustration of PC/EU players who have been complaining to ZOS since January, not getting any response, only to suddenly find out now that ZOS has known about it, can't fix it yet, and has to implement a log-in queue during a (predictably) high demand event.
