Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

Am I the only one that actually loathes the twilight/matriarch?

Sorc pets are gross, visually - We are desperate for some nice pet skins for them.

THIS! Also, I want to kill every player who leaves that annoying flappy monstrosity up in a bank. Seriously, guards in cities should literally attack that thing on sight. Then maybe people would not be so inconsiderate. I really hate all the Sorc pets visually. It's high time they got an upgrade and we got some options.

I also loathe the twilight. That goes for all the combat pets though, and the players that feel the need to have them out constantly.

Visually I cannot stand the Daedric summons. I wish they auto unsummoned in cities because seeing 82 harpies flapping around crapping up busy areas frustrates me.

I only hate the flappy flaps that belong to afk sorcs blocking the daily crafting writ boxes.
    MOVE IT FLAPPY!!!! D:<
I have a flappy flappy and it bothers me when I go to turn in writs. So I unsummon it.

To every Sorc who disses the Twilight:

I'm hitting 40K easily (self buffed) with my single bar, direct damage "Zap Build". NO DOTS. NO GROUND EFFECTS. This build is pug-proof because unruly, poorly tanked bosses cannot escape damage and force you to reset your rotation like they can with those overrated AOE/DOT builds.

      2t7zyVx.jpg

Sets used were Necropotence, Mechanical Acuity and two mismatched Magicka monster set pieces with Magicka regen enchants on all jewelry and Shock enchant on Sharpened Inferno staff. Other stuff included Shadow mundus (I think?), Blue food, Spell Power pots. Skills used on main bar were Elemental Weapon, Daedric Prey, Crystal Fragments, Twilight Tormentor and Bound Aegis. Elemental Susceptibility was on back bar, only needed to be applied once before starting the parse. No rotation other than spamming EW, procced Frags and Atro ult while keeping up Daedric Prey and the Tornentor's buff. I only heavy attack every 30 seconds or so.

I can hit 39K on a 6M dummy, but I need to heavy attack more often, maybe every 20 seconds.

EDIT: I should mention that similar numbers can be hit with Necropotence, Mother's Sorrow and Slimecraw.

As others have said, you can give it a really useful heal so it has its place. I just wish ZOS would do something about combat pets in town. There's no need for them to be there. Countless times I've had to sit around like a lemon, unable to interact with NPC's or crafting stations because there are pets sitting on them. It's ridiculous.

I dont want a summonable pet to fight for me. Whats the point?

I'd much rather that the regular pets had a passive function.
Like why can't my Sep Adders do my butterfly and torch bug collection for me?

Dont like clanfear or matriachs equally.

      So annoying.

Pets are a viable build in BGs. Time you spend trying to pick the sorc out from their pets is time you're wasting not doing anything to them, while they stun you with rune prison, put Haunting Curse and Mage's Wrath on you.

To say nothing of augmenting your pets with even more from sets.

In the hands of someone who understands how to get them to work, pets in PvP aren't annoying, they're lethal, because the time you spend trying to get past the clanfear and twilight is time you're giving the sorc to OHGODADAEDROTHRUN!

Adding an setup on stamsorc with bright green outfit an clanfear and matriarch. Has some spare ebon and sanctuary gear.
      Name setup: town gear :)
Grinding just make you go in circles.

They barely notice the twilight and head straight for me and her attack is laughable.

And all that flapping and singing! Sheesh!

Does anybody else actually prefer the clannfear?

      I know I do.

What is the big advantage to Miss Flappy Flap anyway?

To be honest, all pets annoy me on this game. They obstruct my view and get in the way of my targeting. I can't stand them.

      I only loathe twilights when:
      • Their owner stands in front of a door for ten minutes while I have to zoom into 1st person just to leave the bank.
      • Or when the owner stands in front of the writ boxes reading god knows what, while I again have to go into 1st person to drop my writs off, while pondering over why said owner needs a pet active in order to do their writs anyways..
      • Or, when the owner stands in front of a wayshrine, and.. well, you can guess where I'm going with this..
Seems twilights, and their owners, just like to make me play in a mode, that I do not like to play an mmo in.

the twilight is not a "tanky" pet, its a support (if you have the healing morph) The other morph when proc'd deals more damage to enemies over 55%, the "scamp" has a more direct damage roles and will actively charge at enemies

I think I'll move back to my Clannfear. I have other healing methods, but the 1/3rd works for me and he's awfully tanky.

Personally I would like it if combat pets appeared in combat and non combat pets disappeared in combat. That sounds like it could be done and would make sense. daedric summons appear when needed. cute looked pets dont stand there in the middle of melee.

I don't like running pets. Zos wants us to run pets though, by making them more efficient than non pet sorcs. I love my magsorc, shes my main and I consistently played a non pet sorc. Can't control the fact that zos has a hard on for sorcs running pets. I would be happy if things would be reversed. As for pets in cities oh well, its annoying to have to go in and unsummon them, I had to deal with being forced to run a pet, y'all are gonna have to deal with it too.

I used to use Volatile, but he never drew the enemy to him. Bad guys just ignored him and charged my character. Clanfaar works well in drawing their attention.

I never spend a point on Twilight. One pet is plenty and gets the job done just fine.
