Stuttering after the patch

After today's patch my game stutters (screen completely freezes for about 3 seconds) about every 10 minutes. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I will log today and check, i'm not surprised, this is not the first time, after Summerset was really bad stutter in the game!

What troubleshooting have you tried so far to help with the stutter?

Since this started after the patch, the first two things to try are repairing game files and removing add-ons.

@ZOS_BillE I haven't had a chance to troubleshoot, but so far:
1) It happens in overland content during combat
2) It happens in trials during combat
3) It happens in cities outside of combat

I've noticed that it only happens on my sorcerer, but then again I'm usually not on my other characters for longer than 10 minutes. I'll try to see if the stuttering happens on my other characters as well and then I'll start going through the add-ons.

Was getting stuttering a few days before this patch. Now it's way more pronounced.

Removing addons does not help. Before this patch the addons were there, and there was no stuttering, so....?

I'm getting the same thing. I've been questing around Summerset, and the stutters are happening a lot. When I was doing the fight with Nocturnal in the Crystal Tower, the stuttering was awful. Spells and bar swaps weren't going off either.

Also, fps is dropping like crazy. But since I'm Oceanic, who cares right?

I haven't been able to replicate the 2-3 second stuttering which I was experiencing before, but I haven't disabled any add-ons so I'm not entirely sure what caused it to resolve.

However, a few add-ons did update this week so that might have been it.

Ive also had stutters but I don't get a freeze on PC. On Mac I do get the freezes. I have repaired the game and trashed the shader file. Will try removing addons and maybe rebuilding the user.ini file

I was getting something similar that was causing my client to stay open in the background even after having exited the game and all and im getting login issues. I deleted an add-on i thought was responsible but I'm still not entirely sure it has solved the issue, it comes and goes.

This happened to me 3 times tonight. Not a typical ping spike, just screen completely frozen for a few seconds. Thought it was a crash every time, but then the game caught up.
