Footsteps have no sound

Hi, is anyone else experiencing this? I have no footsteps sound, either on foot or with any mount.
It is really annoying and I was wondering if anyone has the same problem.

    Is it only footsteps in game which are missing sound?

    This could be an issue with your in-game sound files. Run a repair through the ESO launcher to see if that restores footstep sound.

    Hi. actually there are more sounds not working, that I just noticed...
    Combat sounds for weapons for example, as well as my own footsteps.
    Also, when in a dungeon it had a really high pitch noise, like static, which made me turn off sound altogether.

    I'm going to try to do the repair and leave feedback if that helped, once it's complete.

    Just a quick update!
    Did the repair and it fixed all the sound issues I was having.
