Sorcerer Bow user?

I was thinking in make an sorcerer that uses summons and bow as basic build. The main stats will be Stamina.
ive read that nightblade usualy its the best DPS using the bow, but maybe using the sumon the sorcerer can get more croud control.
what you think?

I have a level 30 bow sor. And i think it work very well. You pet however its not special good against single small mobs. but work well if there are more mobs as it often take the aggro on one. and it give ok damage against bosses

My sorc archer is still quite wee, but I'm really liking the control options in the Dark Magic skill line. I find myself using Venom Arrow for damage and spell interrupts, followed by Crystal Shard for damage and a knockdown, Encase when anything's heading for me, Scatter Shot when they get too close and need a knockback. I'm sure I'll be fine-tuning over time... so many shiny control options!

My bow sorc does fine in VR content. Restraining Prison is particulary effective combined with Draining Shot. I coul usually pull off 2x Snipe before even engaging the mob. That way you can kite any melee mobs. 3+ packs is the point where bow isnt viable any more. For such situations I carry 2h with Brawler, Lightning Form and Conjured Ward.

I also have Critical Surge on my bow bar and Momentum on 2h bar. That way you can cast both before engaging enemy, regardless of which weapon you choose

Ofc full medium armor is mandatory for all this
