Wayrest Sewers Bugs.

Seriously how are there, after one year of development, still so many bugs in that dungeon?
Getting stuck inside stairs 3 times over, doors that wont open unless you leave the whole dungeon and re-enter, NPC's needed for quests that walk in super slo-mo from waypoint 1 to waypoint 2 and then run again to waypoint 3.
How can it be that a dungeon like that is not yet fixed?

    Agreed. I've never run in to a single issue in that one. Unless you count dying repeatedly to the lich when my group refused to believe that he could no longer be tanked in the pipe as an issue.

    There is also issues with the quest not proceeding, therefore preventing progress even with pledges.

    Every time i run this dungeon i have at least one of these bugs and the door issue is certainly not just me. Nor is it limited to that dungeon. People get locked out in different places for no apparent reason.

    The boss that fears you and makes you on fire, if you fight him on the stairs, there is a high chance he will bug you UNDER the stairs. Just don't fight there.

    A lot of us no longer get any bugs in all vet dungeons, but I don't think its cause the bugs are fixed, but cause we know what can cause bugs and don't fight the bosses that way anymore.

    But we are getting random crashes (memory leaks) which never happened for the group I normally run with before patch 1.6

    I've actually found that a lot of the big dungeon bugs (the entire Praxin fight, for example) got fixed in 1.6. Not all of them, but it certainly seems like the dungeons got tidied up.

    Just managed to fight my way (solo at VR14) past the first few packs of mobs, but this stone door won't open so I can fight the first boss in Veteran Wayrest. What's going on? Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

    As you can see, my cat can't figure it out either!

    TWO YEARS LATER THIS IS REALLY DISTURBING. I joined a RANDOM and got this stupid DOOR inside a DUNGEON. Please stop highlighting your terrible engine by putting mechanics that FAIL constantly.

    Doors in dungeons = BAD.
    Obstacles in high mobility fights like pebbles that you can get stuck on and die = BAD.
    EDIT: OH YEAH, and CHARGES and KNOCKBACKS into walls bosses disappearing and people getting stuck = BAD.

    Get a better physics engine or please just STOP putting these mechanics in your game.

    That stupid door is annoying, found that running into the ratkeeper room and back sometimes help.
    Yes, if someone run into and engage the boss then its an common problem but if the door bugs on some, they can stand ready and not pass.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Stupid door combat bug should be removed. It happens like in 90% of cases that several people can't enter for a minute or more.

    This door is opened by patience (and the NPC after a few moments).

    But in Wayrest I, after beating Uulgarg the Hungry, usually have to wait before being able to interact the door due to being in combat bug which last for a short while, longer wait if your teammates who entered started the boss fight inside...

    I thought you were going to mention when the boss get's stuck on platform. The door issue is doors lock players out if combat starts. It's old design to keep us from skipping mobs. Also yeah npc in that dungeon sometimes vanishes and doesn't open the door. Wayrest is most buggy dungeon in base game next to coh still fearing you through walls.

    This the door at the top of the stairs after fighting Uulgarg?

    Only times I've ever had problems with that is because I'm still in combat. Some unnoticed npc at the start tagged me and the distance isn't enough for them to drop aggro.

    When it happens I just pop a rogue stealth potion, wait a few secs to drop out of combat then continue.

    In that situation no need to come out of the dungeon.

    Yeah, that's the one. Though I agree with @Tasear even though I think she's wrong, the in combat bug does encourage us to v0clear the map, rather than skipping, I just doubt it's intentional.
