Yeah, when the announce first came out I didn't pre-order for various reasons. Then I went and played some other MMO for a couple weeks and realized why it is I love this game... and did the prologue quest. I may or may not care about the new class, but the new story/lore/quest content will be a win.

The real trick will be seeing if I can get the million+ bounty bled off my khajiit character in time to have her be the first to set foot in the new area. It should work, except the bounty decay timer does not calculate correctly and only removes about half of what it should be.

Elsweyr look like a mix between China and India.
I'll buy it for sur, but I'll wait for some better price cuz it's a bit to high for my budget

I am just not interested in the pre-order bonuses so I'll probably do the wait until it first goes on sale thing I did with the other expansions but I'll buy it eventually as I don't regret my purchase of the other expansions.

They have taken inspiration from North Africa and Yemen. I think they mentioned that in one of the live streams.

From what I've seen on the few picture release, that doesn't look like it.
All building look like old Indian/Chinese temple. We even see typical red Chinese lantern in one picture.

I mean, If they said so, you probably right, but from what we can see it doesn't look like North Africa or Yemen.

As this one has actually set paw there she can assure you it is indeed most beautiful.

Though of course who knows what may have changed since this one briefly felt the warmth of the sands a little while ago.

This one recalls that the cultures of Indonesia and Thailand in the game of 'Outside World' were mentioned as being influenced by Elsweyr.

This is apparent in our very beautiful statues and carvings most noticeably.

That's the feel I get myself. Plus, some buddhist theme is there too, therefore many get this Chinese\Indian vibe

So, they actually have made Skyrim-like dragon hunting in open world.
"No dragons in ESO", they said. Maybe in next chapter they gonna add shiny wings for player characters. Silly.
