no thx...there are enough ways to get them already

giving them out for free with writs is a bad Idea

I personally have 6 Chars with 6 Professions each.....so i'd get 36x5 / day.....180 Crstalls per day is beyond anything....
I would reach the cap within a Day. and there are ppl with 15 crafters on their account...so NOPE!

Maybe a green geode on a 15% chance to drop for the daily writs. Nothing more then that.

No, OP just failed to give their comment context so it is just a confusing post/thread.

But PvE does need some fair treatment since it takes so much longer to get stones compared to the time it takes in PvP. I do not think writs are the way to go though since it seems Zos is interested in incentivizing playing the game and writs do not really fit that bill.

In PvP it takes a full month to (guaranteed) get enough transmutes to change one item. Sometimes you'll get them from random boxes but it's like 4 at a time.

PvE already had numerous sources of crystals.

It takes as little as 30 minutes time running with an active Zerg to earn that guaranteed batch of crystals and those farming it in Cyrodiil like that are not adding any value to Cyrodiil. It takes hours to farm enough for one piece via the means you suggest.

If it's so easy, go to Cyrodiil and join a zerg. I don't really encourage zerging, but PvP players have to do a significant amount of PvE content to get their gear; I see little reason a PvE player can't hop in Cyrodiil for "30 minutes" to get what they want

Transmutation is designed to reduce grinding. It has achieved it's purpose. Please don't dumb this game down any more.

PVP is nice because you can earn the big geodes that you can store for when you need them, but have a 30 day wait time.

PVE is less, because you get them immediately (at a lesser amount)

If it's so easy, go to Cyrodiil and join a zerg.

I have 8 characters, 5 of which are exclusively PvE, and I do every month. It is so easy. You also get min 4 from RotW drops, and zerging plus one day of PvPing can easily get me enough to last a month. Open one every day and voila.
PvP players have to do a significant amount of PvE content to get their gear

People who whine about having to do PvE content earn about the same amount of sympathy from me as PvE people whining about PvP content. All of you quit feeling so hard done by and try playing the game. It's why ZoS does it this way. Maybe instead of being PvE or PvP people you should try just being ESO people.

Oh, I decided. PVE all the way. Perfectly happy waiting for that slow trickle. I don't even do dungeons on a regular basis. With this event I past 50 transmute stones, I transmuted something. I have no reason to horde them or try to get them in abundance. I just use 'em when I have 'em. But hey, that's the life of the "hardcore casual"!

What? I can run BGs for two hours and have a hundred crystals. What in the heck are you talking about? My last venture in PVP I got exactly one hundred crystals.
