Right click on the image
Choose "open image in New tab"
Copy the image URL. It has an image format on the end of it, like .png, .gif, or .jpg
Then paste that image URL into the image box on the forums

See, I didn't get that error when I pasted that link in the image tool.
You can also try using the BBCode. For images, that's {img} www.imageURL.jpg {/img} except you replace the { } with square brackets like [ ]
