1) Everybody will be using the same sets or heavy armor, seriously? when is the last time that you served in the military? there is something called "standard equipment" that soldiers will have.
did the Roman empire push forward because everybody was wearing what they felt was the best? no! if a unit leader decides to have the whole unit equipped in uniformity with the best equipment available well i tip my hat to that smart individual. The only moment you will see a diversity of equipment on a combat unit is if there is a soldier with a particularly designated task within the unit.
3) The Healer is wearing sets that keep everybody alive: you dont say....
Stupid comparison. Ofc there will be a standard equipment for a certain type of soldiers, but you wont see an aircraft pilot running around in the gear of a marine or vice versa. Same should be true in ESO, but it isnt.1) Everybody will be using the same sets or heavy armor, seriously? when is the last time that you served in the military? there is something called "standard equipment" that soldiers will have.
If I (insert stamina built class here) am using a two handed weapon and an intelligently chosen medium armor and the heavy-armor-guy is doing the same or more damage while also having more health and ressistance, the complaint is obviously correct. Assuming player skills are equal and nobody is making a stupid mistake, both players should be unable to kill each other. What the heavy-armor-guy gains in health and resistances, he should loose in damage, healing and regeneration. This is obviously not true with the current state of the game.5) The (insert stamina built class here) is using a two handed weapon and heavy armor hits hard and i cant kill it: Well that warrior surely did his research pretty well and was smart enough not to enter the battlefield wearing a leather jacket or a robe cause the same thing applies for when people complain about heavy armored magicka builds.
Pets are problematic for two reasons atm: Players surrounding themselves with pets are pretty much out of reach as long as they move halfway cleverly - 50% of your hits will land on a pet even when you clearly target the caster, due to ZOS' poor targeting. Add environment which forces the pets to stack closely around the caster (e.g. a ledge on a rock) and those numbers easily climb up to 70-80%. Second: Sorc pets and the warden bear are - imo - OP in such as they are one-time-casts with theoretically infinite return. This is as if I casted one force pulse and it would continue casting without additional costs. Obviously wrong. (And yes, I know that you have to expend some ressources if you want to activate your pets' special skills, but even if you dont, they do damage - completely for free after the initial cast)8) The Sorcerers and Wardens brought their pets: So no conjurers allowed?
Totally disagree. Ppl choose a character because they want to play in a certain way. Ranged or melee, fast paced or heavily blocking, with pet or without. Then ZOS changes the basic rules of that character class and all of a sudden they find themselves at a massive disadvantage unless they start to play exactly the way they wanted to avoid. Thats why they complain. Most of the nerfs that have been done and continue to be put in place is because people complain about the builds they [...] refused to due to a ridiculous ,narcissist sense of "pride"
Today i want to take a moment to pin out the most ridiculous complaints i've read on this forum, discord, and other ESO related sites and topics:
1) Everybody will be using the same sets or heavy armor, seriously? when is the last time that you served in the military? there is something called "standard equipment" that soldiers will have.
did the Roman empire push forward because everybody was wearing what they felt was the best? no! if a unit leader decides to have the whole unit equipped in uniformity with the best equipment available well i tip my hat to that smart individual. The only moment you will see a diversity of equipment on a combat unit is if there is a soldier with a particularly designated task within the unit.
2) The Tank is holding block and wont die: and? isn't that what the tank is supposed to do? oh let me guess, somehow you want it to be you and your zerg buddies showed up, everything must die
regardless.
3) The Healer is wearing sets that keep everybody alive: you dont say....
4) The Nightblades are using shadow cloak and ganking: a nightblade came out of the shadows and killed you? almost huh? what did the nightblade do next? oh it kept moving within the shadows huh? maybe because that's what a nightblade does.
5) The (insert stamina built class here) is using a two handed weapon and heavy armor hits hard and i cant kill it: Well that warrior surely did his research pretty well and was smart enough not to enter the battlefield wearing a leather jacket or a robe cause the same thing applies for when people complain about heavy armored magicka builds.
6) Siege weapons hit hard: simply look up siege weapons on your search engine of choice, im not gonna even bother with this one.
8) The Sorcerers and Wardens brought their pets: So no conjurers allowed?
9) People stack on a resource or a hold with their sieges and we can't take it: well ok sorry peeps, the enemy has arrived lets just all move out and let them have their way.
10) Nerf (insert class skill and passive here) This is Tamriel people, a place of Magic, a place with historical powerful Mages and Warriors of might whom have caused plane melds, sunken whole islands, killed dragons, faced daedric lords but (x) skill is OP, nope nerf it ZOS nerf it now or i will cancel my plus.
Most of the nerfs that have been done and continue to be put in place is because people complain about the builds the either couldn't achieve or refused to due to a ridiculous ,narcissist sense of "pride" oh that's just a cookie cutter build, oh i want my unique but obviously useless build to be as great or above to whatever that warrior has. Im not talking about talking about the just spam (x) skill over and over people am talking about people who actually built their character to exceed.
To everybody who has done an almost immortal tank, a mass healing mender, a heavy armored deadly warrior, a fast moving in and out of the shadows, ganking nightblade, i salute thee and thanks for making the battlefield glorious. Exept you treehuggers and LoS heroes , it was fun at first to chase you around but now its old and boring so please come up with something new to make the chase fun once more.
Yes sometimes you can not break free / roll dodge even with full stamina this can even happen against overland mobs in dlc.NordSwordnBoard wrote: »My repetitive PvP complaint is to fix break free. This is also a repetitive PvE complaint.
We can actually all get behind this one.
This is just a way over simplification of a lot of issues. Balance in PvP isn’t al that far off between classes at then moment and we didn’t get there by just saying *** it.

And standard stuff like frozen
