Base Game with DLC less than DLC but not available to buy Base Game for DLC: Caused New Player Issue

I recently had my husband join ESO. As of this date, and yesterday when he first got the game and started playing, the Base Game was on sale for $9.99. The Base Game also came with the DLC Morrowind. I didn't think much of it till I saw he popped up in the new Tutorial of Morrowind. Note, I do not have the Morrowind DLC yet, so I didn't have a way to reach him and help him. So I thought, "Let me check the crown store I might as well go ahead and buy the Morrowind DLC too." Well that was until I saw the DLC alone was $35.00.

So my husband got the Base game AND Morrowind DLC for $9.99, but a player since launch has to play $35.00 JUST for the DLC?!

I even checked the store to see if I could just go buy the base game and get it with the DLC, I mean its $10.00 versus the $35.00. But when I did instead of a buy button it says, "YOU DO NOT QUALIFY FOR THIS PRODUCT".

Just find it a little rude to loyal players, when new players get better deals, rather than offering similar deals. It also ruined our experience as now I cant reach my husband, to help him, until he leaves the Morrowind DLC.

Sadly this has been this way for a few months now (since August I think).

ZOS has shown no interest (as far as I've seen) in lowering the in-store crown price for the Morrowind expansion to at least reflect that newer players get it for free now. I honestly wish they would at least lower it to 500 Crowns at this point (I already have the expansion so it doesn't really influence me at all) but it's ridiculous that they will give it to new players for free but offer older players no sort of compensation at all.

A work around is to buy the game on a retailer instead of the official webpage or in-game. All you have to do is buy the ESO: Morrowind version, which is the same standard version being sold on the webpage and once you apply the key to your account it`ll dismiss the base-game and add the expansion.

It`s a quite scummy move by Zenimax, but they aren`t well know for good monetization in their games. Green Man Game is an official retailing page and it usually has some mild sales so you should be able to get it for 19 bucks or so. Sadly you have just missed the 20 years sale they had on the webpage also selling it for 9 bucks.
