At Alcasts page I see disabling effects listed as:
Do snares also count for that set? What else counts for it?
- Knocked Down
- Stunned
- Off balance
- Disoriented
- Silenced
- Feared
- Pull
- Knockback

I don’t think snares are a disabling effect. You can still control your character, just move slower. Reactive armor procs in weird places too, like when you are mounting or dismounting.5
