Basically by now i have about 10 or so different mounts and so far in this game of course besides traveling, the only content that i’ve seen mounts being a part of is Hel Ra Citadel and i don’t think the part they are used was really intended to be that way or not. Since now the newer content keeps getting more interesting mechanics like the ones in the Wrathstone DLC i think it would be awesome to have more mount related action for either a new DLC dungeon or trial or even an overland quest. does anybody know any quest that i might have missed that relies at some point on saddling up and charging?

✭✭Daily crafting writs are more speedily knocked over by mounting up and using rap man.
Personally I consider mounts to be part of the fashion game. Matching them up with character and outfits / costumes to achieve that perfect look.3 -

I think they just can't do it because basically everyone who knows very basic maths would have exactly the same mount speed lol.
As for the OP, i think i like the idea yeah. Mounts could make bit more sense for sure.PC|EU0 -

Yeah, they would have to make it a little more interesting. But races couldn't just be about horse speed but about finding the best route through unknown terrain. And maybe there could be different racing skill lines that would need to be levelled, I don't know. ✭Mount racing would, after player adaptation and optimization, boil down to a measure of one's network connection to the game server. Mount? Dismount? Re-cast Rapids? All dependent upon latency and packet loss. The more things one might reasonably add to make it less dull, the more clear this becomes.

Ysbriel✭✭✭✭✭They could just make it an instance like the dungeons and battlegrounds and have it that you cant dismount and everybody has “rapids” and just drop a few sigils around the track to boost the stamina back and just have like tracks that are full of traps and gaps along the way, also the type of mount you use might not be suitable for each terrain.1

Then they would have to add suitable types of mounts in the game though.

Ysbriel✭✭✭✭✭Well they already have, horse, guar, nix, camel etcétera, so what im think is you are gonna race in a track that has a terrain Blackmarsh perhaps the horse or wolf is not the best bet, i guess a guar and a nix have better odds0
