If you are one of the people who go around listing items for a discounted price in guilds JUST to remove the item and put it back in for a much higher price.. So the TCC website brings people into your guild under false pretenses...

You can save yourself some coin by simply using the web based upload form for TTC.
There you can upload anything you like for any price you like, all you need is a text editor ...

✭✭✭One of the drawbacks of a merchant add-on, if a majority of players rely on it for pricing guidance, is there is a tremendous incentive to influence the market by manipulating the guide. You can save yourself some coin by simply using the web based upload form for TTC.
There you can upload anything you like for any price you like, all you need is a text editor ...

Possibly, but I suspect that since listing values are crowd sourced, it would require a large number of fake listings to influence values, and it would be relatively simple to identify a single-source influx of data.
There is a counter to the counter, of course, but it would require more resources that only the most committed manipulator would engage.

✭Probably just sells quick. I know a lot of people who use TTC search to find items. If they are cheap they sell fast. I always sell my items at bottom or near bottom price as well. Some weirdos who list stuff way above what they are worth are the ones who need to disappear.0 -
