Plea: allow to extract gems from crate mounts!

Yes, I know there already was such topics, but still: please, give us possibility to get gems from not duplicate mounts from crown crates!

What made me to write this? Today I got camel - second apex camel in collection. I'd be happy to exchange it to gems.
Even for less gems than duplicates gives.
Even for one gem.
Even for one bottle of crown poison.
I would be insanely happy to give it, absolutely free, to first random person who say "I want camel"!

But I can do nothing.
I can only try not to look on them in mount tab. I may not use bears and dislike lizard horse look, that's not problem, random is random, maybe one day I'll find use for them, but I simply can't use camels! I feel terribly sick just from watching character riding it. Even camel in house reminds it too strong. Buying camel was my biggest mistake in ESO (well, second, after not getting loyality rewards).
And now I have two more - and can't even hide it from collection and housing tab.

I got a camel from a crate when they were still being given out. I was thrilled until I rode it.... they make me queasy too. Not touched it since.

I can agree with this. What if you get a mount that you would literally rather sell rather than use?

If this ever gets added I'd like to see the same for pets. Gotten a bunch of pets that will for sure gather dust in the collection book forever.

I can accept mounts I just don't like. I have some. Two bears, dwarven and hollowjack, skeletal senche, lizard horse... some not apex mounts, mostly cats. I can use it situationally or place in house, or wait - maybe one day I'll find use. It's normal for random to get not only what you wanted..
But I never will find use for camels, because I can't use it.
Sure some players have close problem with spider pets. But there's at least less spiders in crates...

    They won't do it.
They want you to buy more crates instead

Very glad that there is nothing I want in these crates just like the last crates

Everything in crates should be fair game. They should also list the odds for each tier. They'll probably wait until regulation forces their hand instead of stepping up and doing the right thing by choice.

I got the Dwemer bear and horse radiant apex back when those crates were first released and I never wanted them and was really hoping I could've traded them in for gems; then my dreams were crushed when I found out you couldn't...

Since you can upgrade your Nascent Indrik, which effectively removes that "collectible" from your list, why can't the same be done with crown crate mounts?

I feel you. My collection tab feels more like a trash can, it's crammed with ugly things, which can't even be get rid of. It's like having a wardrobe full of ugly things you would never wear but you can't remove them either.

I think gemming crown items you don't want would be a good thing also.

Heck, I'd love to gem Crown potions, poisons, XP scrolls, fortifying meals. . . basically all the consumables that we get in daily rewards. Or even to sell the stuff for gold maybe. I'm getting tired of typing DESTROY to maintain bank slots.

If we can't gem out unwanted collectibles, at least provide the ability to put frequently used items at the top of the collectibles menu. Let me have the handful of pets I like at the top and the remaining never-used / can't get rid of 37 at the bottom. This could be as simple as a drop down option to display 'alphabetically' (like they are now) or by 'most frequently used'.

You don't have to type destroy. Right click, mark as junk, then open Junk, x to destroy all.

    Agreed.

50 bucks for 100 gems is freakin ridiculous.

I've suggested this in the past. Every new crate means you don't get gems because the items are "new" collectibles and automatically go into your stash, never to be used. Cost me $30 to get the 40 gem white Loon.

Every collectible that pops should have the Option to keep it or turn it into gems.

The support entry adequately covers the conditions for receiving and acquiring gems. As we've entered the tenth seasonal crate season, it is very, very unlikely that any condition will be altered. Both because of internally discussed problems that a change would create, as well as unexpected issues the team hasn't imagined yet.

WHY CAN'T I CONVERT THESE CROWN STORE ITEMS INTO CROWN GEMS?
Only items acquired via Crown Crates can be converted into Crown Gems. If you get a collectible item that you already own (such as a costume, hat, pet, or mount), the item will automatically be converted into Crown Gems and added to your account.

Consumables acquired from Crown Crates can have their Crown Gems extracted manually by using the GEM EXTRACTION button from the Crown Crate menu. Please note that this extraction function is only available for consumables (such as potions or scrolls).

Nobody asks for full cost. There are different ways to make people buy more crates. Returning old items (why no costumes this season?), crown gem exclusives...
Also, I'm not sure if people will buy less. When you know you have real chances to get what you want, it'll be easier to convince you buy crates, then when you think it's nearly impossible. Less crates per person, but more people.

Some kind of "favourite" will be great, yes. *tired of searching body markings and hairstyles in collection*

Many things changed since their start. There is no real reason for collectibles to be not deconstructed for gems - that's just easiest way to make people buy more crates. Easiest, not the best.
Of course, there are nearly no chances. But more we ask - more chances we have.

you may want to go get tested for vertigo. it was a mount in another game that alerted me i had some sort of a problem and went to the dr. one type is curable, the other not, but you can be taught to manage it. mostly.
