COD warning of payment mail expiry time

When someone accepts your cod the mail with the payment that is sent back to you will also only have a 3 day expiry time! I almost missed a mail with several thousand gold because a buyer was slow to pay, and then I didn't check my mails after a few days, so was only 1 day left of the payment mail.

I had never noticed this before but I just realized that may be because the game may previously just have deleted the mails....

who knows, I dont hope but the possibility is there. I dont see why the mail with the payment has to have the 3 day expiry limit, why not put it to 30 days as all other mails.

I'm curious as to what happens if if hits the three days, does it mail it back to the buyer? That's weird as if so. If i get a moment Ill test with a mate.

Oh yeah a test would be nice, I would do one too if I can. I figure the mail will just disappear and the gold lost?

Thank you so much. I didn't know this. Heck I didn't even know we have a Pay on Delivery system. Curious how does that work. Sorry if I am taking your post off topic @Jayman1000

No problem

When you send a mail and attach items you can click down in the left corner of the mail. There is an option to choose nosrmal mail and then "COD", "cash on delivery" or "collect on delivery" whatever your fancy, and type in the amount in the box just to the right of it. There will be a cod fee, like 7% or something. Recipient has 3 days to pay and take items or they will be returned to you; I believe the returned item mail will have 3 day expiry limit too just like the payment mail has if they do take and pay. That 3-day limit on the return mail is not a good idea imo.
