Should we have the option to turn off floating orbs from set gear?

You know the red, blue, and green orbs from the sets for Worm Cult, Ebon, Hircine's, and Sanctuary? They are highly distracting and annoying. I think it would be nice if there was a way to turn them off if you don't want to see them.

Yes, please implement an option to turn them off in the settings. THERE ARE 4 LIGHTS!

No, I don't think this is necessary. Also, your obscure Star Trek reference is incorrect.

IDC. Nobody should use that gear anyway because there are better options that are far more l33t!

An option like that would be neat! They do get distracting and sometimes annoying but at the same time I like them. It's what makes the sets stand out a bit! 🙂

Theyre nice on mage characters, not so much on others.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

No. If there is going to be a toggle for set visuals, it makes no sense to select only a few. Turn it off for all, or turn it off for none (as a toggle).

Those lights increase group morale, no point to turn them off.

I'm not sure about that one. Besides, it would be a toggle that only you see like any other setting.

I do not know about OP but when I am in a trial I am focused on what I need to do. Not on someone else's character other than our placement and movement to avoid overlapping damage. We have had healers and tanks with those orbs for years and I have never noticed it while in combat.

When out of combat I do notice it but it is hardly a distraction. Merely notice it in passing. Does not seem to be a big deal.

RIP when the number of orbs equaled the number of people buffed. Sure it wasn't always practical to count but the option was nice.

Maaayyyybe when out of combat removing gear effects would be a nice option. I do get annoyed when a low rez enchantment covers up the neato outfit weaponry style I have. Crushing with Torgug's & Crushing is a particular offender. Maybe updating the enchantment textures and making them more occasional would be nice. But coordinating an outfit with the orbs is sort of a fun time.

Mine glitch out of existence so often, I have to often double check to make sure I have the full 5 piece on.

An option to turn them on or off doesn't really help me none.
