How do I find out which quests I have left?

I am missing one quest in Rivenspire for the achievement, but I can't for the life of me find it. I have searched google for Rivenspire map completion images and I have every single icon on mine whited out; yet, I am 41 of 42. Is there a master quest list of the quests I finished which I can match up against a master quest list of available quests? If not, why not? Need some help here...

    -> You don't.

    There is no possible way to find a missing quest unless you are using addon FROM THE BEGINNING of your game.

    However, you can /feedback and tell ZOS to add quest list to API, so it will be possible to create addons that tell you what quests are you missing in each zone.

    Yeah, I spent a week running around Bangkorai looking for the quests I had 'missed' only to discover after the last patch that it was a typo and the quests didn't even exist.

    Have you completed all solo dungeons? Many of those contain quests which helped me to complete the Rivenspire quest achievement.
    For quest list to check on what you've missed, you may wish to check out this page -

    Yeah. Check dungeons for quests. Might be like Shadowfen. One of the public dungeons (this is not a solo dungeon) has a quest tied in with it which you need to do as it gives zone completion for Shadowfen.
    Want to get your levels higher. Complete world bosses, dolmens & as many dungeons as possible.
    As stated above there are addon's available showing quest hubs on all maps.

    Don't know if this will help but there is a vampire you have to kill that drops a quest item and he isn't at any of the map locations. He's on the north shore between Northsalt Village and the Doomcrag. If I remember correct he is around Maiq the Liar and Vaewend village. Anyway I got 42 quests exactly, so if I didn't find this guy I'd be in the same boat as you. Just check the beaches up there. Hope it helps.

    The achievement journal only shows you the "common" quests. Even when you got 53/53, there are still a few gems to find in each zone, in the game.

    Regarding riverspire...funny you said that. I just completed it. No google. No addon...

    Get the Destinations Addon, it will show you the places you have not explored yet. That is probably where the missing quests are.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    This would be a good and logical extension to the recent Zone Guide Map UI feature.

    This topic is from September 2014, when the game had just come out. The Zone Guide will tell you the names of the main story quests which makes it much easier to find them and there's now numerous fan sites and (on PC) addons which will show you exactly where to find them.

    I like to use UESP before or during an area for a quick check - for example when going into a public dungeon I can quickly see how many quests and achievements there are without getting too much detail on what and where.

    Then I use the Quest Map addon when I think I'm done with an area to check for anything left over. I think that's similar to the addons mentioned earlier in this topic, but it's been improved and can show unfinished quests (including all the side quests where the Zone Guide only shows the main ones). Some of those are little 'connecting' quests - literally just an NPC telling you to go talk to someone else if you got ahead of the story, and you can't do those if you did it in the right order. But some of them will be actual quests too, which I didn't come across while roaming around.
