The new clown crates SUCK, the NECROCANCER class is awful and OP for several reasons, impending nerfs to classes are going to ruin the game FOREVER so they can CASH GRAB on everyone buying the new chapter for the class, PvP is gonna DIE when they introduce their garbage faction-lock system, and now the game is going to be all P2W when they make skyshards too convenient for people who are too LAZY to farm them CORRECTLY across characters.

I think that summed up all the ways everyone's world has fallen apart, but I may have missed something. Someone else can fill in the gaps.

The crown crates are out. There's some cool stuff in them, but people are salty. It's a preference issue. There is a 600 gem mount in the store right now, that's generating some salt as well.

To the best of my knowledge, none of the nerfs have been publicly stated. There's just been some leaks from people claiming to speak for the class reps. (I mean, there probably are nerfs coming, but nothing we know about yet.) Which, I mean, if we take that at face value is an NDA violation, so take these claims with a grain of salt for now.

Vivec (and maybe the non-CP 30 day) are getting faction locks. Like they had back at launch. Though this is coming with a removal of the guest system, so you can always hop into the 7 day campaign. Also, Emperor will be faction locked in all campaigns. So if you earn Emp on a Covenant character, you cannot earn Emp on a Dominion or Pact character for the rest of that campaign.

Skyshards are going to be offered in the crown store as bundles, (provided you've already earned the associated achievement on one of your characters.) So, this will speed up getting alts to endgame, maybe. But we don't know how the pricing on this will work.

In short we got some Elsweir info who look awesome.
Necromance looks a bit OP, loads of utility but hard to use well.
Faction locking seems a bit overkill, why don't just lock it for 20 hours. perhaps disable home campaigns for duration for alts in other factions but allow "guest", guest goes away

The NDA is lifted, so media and people that have tested the update can release some details. Those details include some class changes that are on the table as well as the Necromancer class and skills. 30 day campaign (CP and non-CP) faction locks are coming, you can guest campaign into others as well as 2 IC campaigns, one CP one non-CP.
