Was looking forward to the DragonScale crates all day!

Really for the past 7 days anyways I love the crates with the exception of the past two seasons but with dragonscale coming up I was very optimistic that this season was going to be awesome. I rushed home to see what new goodies were in store since I have like 800 crown gems and 10000 crowns to spend and damn what a disappointment... The only thing worth buying was the skin that I'll probably never see but yea this sucks. The really cool mounts are locked behind a RNG wall which with 800 crown gems I've learned my lesson that I have a better chance of winning the mega millions lottery. What happened? The first 4 or 5 seasons always had really cool Apex rewards, flame atronach, psjic, storm atronach, wild hunt, skeletal, even the dwarven wasnt bad but they always included a really cool obtainable mount. Now we get lizard mounts and with this season regular mounts with a fancy blue saddle on them? Wow I wouldnt pay more than $5 for these mounts if that. I really hope crown crates go back to the really cool mounts and stop with this lame crap and locking the really cool mounts behind an impossible paywall.

    On the contrary, these new apex mounts are some of the only crate-exclusive mounts I've cared for at all, and gladly dumped some-7500 gems to get the wolf today. Totally worth it! I really like normal, armored mounts, and this one gives off a blue aura when you do your mount special while standing still that lasts about 30 seconds.

    Sorry if you don't like them, but I love them! Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

    Completely agree my brother and I each had 15,000 crowns ready to go but aren’t buying a single crate. Not interested in any of the mounts in the crates and not even costumes just nothing really. Where is the ghost gloom mount and costumes that wete leaked? I’ll just keep saving. Looks like all the effort went into 3 unobtainable mounts only which isn’t even worth trying for. Just so disappointing :(

    They all look terrible. The ONLY thing that looked good was the new dwarven bow motif. 200 gems... Haha, no thanks.

    It's really a matter of preference.
    For me those neon-like shining W.o.W like cartoonish mounts look silly and childish and are not my thing like at all. Soon we'll get radiant/apex that sh** rainbow and stars while galloping. And I bet there are people who would buy zillion of crates to get it.

    I prefer a "regular" mounts with fanciful saddles and/or mane .

    - Dunmer Templar dps/healer [she's a healer, then again she likes inferno staff too...]

    - High Elf SorcMag dps [It's quite possible his daddy was a Nord.]

    What I don’t understand is why won’t they go back to using the muscular horse model for armored horses and use the slender model for non-armored mounts?

    I craved an armored horse for ages before getting my beloved Witch Knight Charger. Now several new armored horses have been added - the Silver Dawn, Auroran, and recently Dragonscale Barded, and all use the skinny model which just ruins them. The rear quarters look they belong to a different animal. They don’t look sturdy enough to carry the weight of their own armor into battle, let alone a rider.

    Please, PLEASE consider using both horse models going forward, scrawny for pleasure mounts and sturdy for war mounts.

    it`s so weird to see people willing to sink 100 bucks in RNG crates. It`s amazing and pitiful to me at the same time. So many better things you could buy with that money. But hey, to each their own. It`s just sad how normalized lootboxes have become nowadays to the point everything that looks remotely good is guaranteed to be crate exclusive.

    i spent mine for buying water and donating to poor african kids. But i got message that my water is vaporized due to hot weather.
    History, like a human being, is thirsty when it wakes from its slumber…History wants to drink up an enormous amount of blood. And even if history has tired of drinking blood, that’s only in regards to the amount. But what about quality? The larger the sacrifice is, the more delighted the cruel gods will be.

    Why so sarcastic? I meant more like "you could buy a new phone" or "you could buy 1 or 2 full games" :v
