I think what's wrong with this game is the continuing failed insistence on trying to balance PvE and PvP together. One need only briefly consider impen, heavy armor, snipe, cc to realize PvP and PvE are two different games.
I've no interest in running a meta build. My bow/bow stamsorc runs +25k dps and does not impact other players. If she wants to run a pledge or WB, she does it solo - and pretty successfully. I find that snipe has a role in her line up that suits our purpose - to have fun and successfully accomplish any content that I'm interested in.
If you can do 25k dps you dont need to restrict yourself to solo, anyone who wont take you for something other than a vet trial is an idiot.
You can’t do vet dlc trials with 25k dps. Vet craglorn trials yes. Nothing further above

I can find others....25k is actually 3nough to clear any content....that being said if you are doing 25k dps you are missing something major...2 -

✭✭✭✭✭There is something that glitches it and I think it's on purpose. Usually see a single silver shard in the mix but I haven't tried. Either way, I think the answer is no, they cant fix it. You just have to learn to deal. I mean I've only seen it show up a handful of times because it's a lot of waiting to get a cheesy kill and in any objective group play, you become target #1 and dont offer a lot other than your own lolz. At most, maybe they'd do a telegraph of a cross hair on you while its cast or maybe right at the end if the cast.0 -

You can easily approach 50k if not break it with all classes solo parse Bow/Bow with Snipe.
Of course most classes will be lower with optimum cp placement for trials. But within the context of trials it has been shown that Bow/Bow trial buffed is generally ahead of DW/Bow trial buffed if they get Shadow Silk synergy.
Which is a huge dps increase that is most easily taken advantage of by Bow/Bow, and easily offered by a decent tank as you can only really use the synergy every 30sec. If you really don't want the tank to run it you could run two Bow/Bow dps and have them throw Shadow Silk for each other.
The idea that using Snipe means poop dps has almost always been a fiction. Although, Snipe in a rotation has not always been as competitive as it is now.
