I mean, whats next, have the starter isle questlines "account completed"? The mainstory questslines? Guild questlines? Any other quests?
Its not like those prolouge quests are -just- advertisment, they also bridge the story a little, AND gice nice questing rewards, right? And most importantly... you can do them, or not and just bypass them, as you like! Just like you can do with any regional, guild or DLC questline... yeah, it means there will be that "quest here!" marker reminding you of what you did not do on that particular character. Well, duh! Same with ANY other quest you skip! Same with the regional questings, same with the guild questlines or any DLC questlines...
Why should ANY of that be account wide??? Why?
What would be the benefit for ZOS to make it so???

Then pick it up, but don't do it. Problem solved.
Having quests be account bound is an awful idea.

No, just the "prolouge quests".Prof_Bawbag wrote: »No where did he or she even insinuate starter quests or even zone quests were an annoyance...
...but... Do You Know How Long They Have Been Looking For You?!?Prof_Bawbag wrote: »It is an annoyance on a new character...
I really enjoyed this one, and the Murkmire one was great too but it really is annoying running through a zone and having somebody telling me my present goals are not worthwhile (looking at you Concordia). Prologue quests are really just advertisements to main event right?
I was thinking, if, under the 'Stories' tab, there is Zones, Dungeons, why not Prologue too? If you own the DLC/Chapter the Prologue is referring to, and have completed it any one character, where the other DLC's have 'Accept Quest' the Prologue could have 'Deem Completed'.

...for every quest NPC.
I'm talking about you, Stuga. Yes, I know how long you've been looking for me.
