Need clearer combat cues for yellow/red lines

I'm getting one-shotted by these essential cues as I can't see the yellow/red lines among the adds, particle effects, scenery, UI and what else.

Is there any other way to brighten up those lines? I'm going to try running it in lowest settings and see if it makes a difference

Yes! There are ways to brighten/dim those effects, and even change their color (very handy for colorblind folks)
I forget exactly where they're at as I've not had to tinker with mine for some time, but I believe the settings are under the combat options menu.
    Hope that helps! :)

There are only settings for the AOE combat cues. I am referring to those red/yellow lines that blink ontop of a enemy unit to indicate it is casting / chanelling / charging

No, I'm afraid I'm not familiar with any way to change those. In fact, I'm not familiar with those at all. Perhaps I have an option disabled for them?
Anyway, I just learned the animation and mechanics for enemies.

    Yeah vampires are everywhere.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

There should be a setting for this, or it should piggy back off the AoE color change options.

Another prime example is the axes in vAA. They're a lovely translucent purple, until you're trying to determine if one is trying to get away.

Anything that is an important combat cue should be able to be color adjusted accordingly.

Once you get to know some enemies you'll see their casting animations.

Apparently you're getting too frisky with them and that's why they're one-shotting you with the " No U" backhand B)

There need to be a better way to see an enemy channel or heavy attack. For instance I personally dread PUGging Jailer Melitus in MHK (so no voice chat), when the boss is drown in a mess of flashy particle effects it's really hard to see when he's going to one shot the tank.

Yes, they suck, You have to bore a hole in the screen with your eyes to see them. And even then it's impossible sometimes. I've been complaining about this for a long time now and I'm convinced it's one of the reasons tanks are so rare on this game.

I don't know why they just don't use the regular combat queues when the words appear warning you to block. That you can actually see. So they should just give the player the option to activate that on a consistent basis.
