My group is currently working on the twins, And we have been having issues with about half of our group not having a head color. Its a big issue for a group working on our first clear. Everyone is getting confused and going to the wrong side. Is anyone else noticing this?

Head colors in the Twin fight have been bugged for a while.

ZOS is aware of this issue but they haven't said when it will be fixed.

If someone can't see their head color, the two best workarounds right now are:
    1) Watching for the "conversion imminent" combat text which lets you know when you're about to convert, and if even that doesn't show up then
    2) Back away from the group during conversions and watch your damage numbers on the boss. If your damage suddenly drops it means you swapped colors and should rotate to the other boss.

Even if the head colors are bugged the combat text should still pop up on the screen. So if that text doesn't pop up for those players then they need to back away from their group during each conversion and watch their damage numbers to tell whether they converted or not.

    It's a pain, but it's still doable.

Thats what we were thinking. I guess we will just have to try to work around it for now.

Thanks for the tips. Will pass it along to my group and we will try again on our next run through.

We actually had a bug in one of our runs where we skipped first conversion phase entirely. We pulled, like usual, and waited for conversion, and waited, and waited, and prayer phase... Then half the group lost their colors, while the other half kept theirs, and we all died lol. It was very much not working as intended.

Raid notifier has a blue or yellow icon on your screen that seems to be pretty reliable as a work around.

I ran VMAW a couple days with a pug group. Granted they were a really good pug group. We had the tanks "going home." And followed mechanics as usual. The no head colors was a fun challenge for a group where everyone had completed VMAW but I can only imagine how catastrophic that'd be for a group progressing it.

Very solid tip. Takes a bit of getting used to, but this helps a lot.
