Useless Berry?

I am way behind on my event tickets. I did get the mount last time and had 10 yesterday, so I bought the first berry (out of 4) shown.
Now I read that this set is going away and will not be usable after this event. I could get 2 more berries this time, but that is the most, leaving me one short from the set that is going way.
Did I just waste my 10 tickets? Is this berry really going to be vendor trash (or worse) after this event?

That's why I refuse to participate. If they want to try to make people feel (keyword: feel) forced to participate in every event every time they come to get the transient reward, well, I'm not interested in feeling forced. It helps that I hardly care about mounts, though.
If you still want the last berry, I believe people mentioned you can purchase tickets in the crown store? Though I hate the idea of letting ZOS strongarm anyone into purchasing them, it's an option available to you.0 -

How do I get a ticket refund? Support?
What do I do with the tickets if I get a refund? I would rather be buying toward the next mount, though I suppose I could go for more feathers. (I already have the mount and I am not sure I will get enough berries in a reasonable timeframe. The last event sucked since I only got 1 of my many characters high enough to earn a ticket once. Too many lead-in things to do that are non-trivial.PC

✭✭✭I entered a support ticket with this and another related issue and they basically ignored it. I don't know whether to buy another berry hoping they will overlap as I had read earlier or just start buying feathers if I am at the cap.
They didn't even respond with what I could do.PC
