I know this is probably not the most appropriate place to post this.
Tho would appreciate any info on the subject.

Have any of you guys experienced system error: E105 or E102?

Done heavy reset and all that.
Tried to reset to factory settings but won't let me.
This thing cost like 700 bucks and is only a year old.
What kind of BS are these toss pots playing at?

    I know nothing about consoles, but if you google "xbox x error e105" you'll get a lot of hopefully helpful information.

    Just spent a hell ton of money on this game.
    Gona have to cancel sub and quit I guess.

    I believe the Xbox X comes with a year warranty, so if you still fall within that then your repairs will be free. If you bought Microsoft Complete that will extend it to like 3 years.
    You should be able to check your warranty here if you created an account when purchasing the console: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/devices

    I got it December 29th 2017. Warranty is only 1 year. lmao...

    I'll ring the store I got it from tomorrow and see if they can help.

    hey, I made the switch when my xbox 360 broke down years ago. It was a pretty big eye opener.

    If your warranty is out there is some things you can do. 1. Replace hard drive, not that hard to do. Very easy step by step guides online. 2. You can also attempt to hook your hard drive to pc and redo it and fix. I did step number 2 last week and fixed mine that did the same thing. I’ve also replaced hard drives in them too. Much cheaper way than replacing entire Xbox.

    But I have spent thousands of $$$ on this game through the crown store and subbing and what not.

    Maybe ZOS can buy me a new one... :*

    If it's out of warranty, I'd advise replacing the hard drive. It's pretty simple to do, and you can even get a bigger one as a sort of silver linings upgrade. Heck, throw an SSD in there and get wicked fast load times.

    Whatever you do, don't reformat and use the current drive. Since it has already failed once, the likelihood of it failing again is high.

    Was just able to reset the console.
    Downloading as we speak.

    Fingers crossed it lasts.
    Some say it is a hard drive issue, others say it is an update issue.

    Most computer repair shops can swap hdd for you and get the xb OS from the net.

    Not gonna pile on the futile PC master race argument, but how do you figure this? On laptops it's usually a matter of removing one cover, and desktop cases increasingly come with hot swap HDD trays you only need to pull out, no screws or opening the case required.
