Please make Guild names visible in Alliance War

Like title says please make the Guild name of people's main guild visible by other players, enemy and friendly.
This would be such an improvement in the whole pvp experience and in this way people can focus on getting some fame/reconation for there guild.
Its easy hotfixable by just adding a Represent this Guild option to the game so the people see only the Represented guild name.
I hope the Devs read this, i have no clue where else to post.

The anonymous PvP in Cyrodiil makes it bland and repetitive. If I see an enemy force perform an impressive maneuver and beat me I want to know who is responsible. If I get the advantage and destroy them later I want to know it.3 -

Players should be allowed to select which guild they show in Cyrodiil if they belong to multiple as well. That way they could have different tags on each character depending on their alliance.1 -

In the current system if you have the alliance plates on they vanish if the enemies are stealth or behind obstacles. You need line of sight to see the crests over players heads. Guild tags just have to be tied to the same system.2 -

✭I love how pvpers are trying to get an unfair advantage by asking to work around the no nameplates issue by subtly lowering the bar to see if they can break the game that way. What part of nameplates break immersion and are ridiculous for pvp did Zenimax not make clear to you minority complainers?2 -

joshisanonymous✭✭✭✭✭I'd rather not have any nameplates and whatnot, which wouldn't be much of an option if it were available for PvP because they allow you to more easily see enemies, particularly when they try to duck around an obstacle.
However, I'd like to make sure people in this thread realize that Zenimax has already mentioned that they're working on things like crests and tabards for guilds.0 -
Genev✭✭There's already Alliance tags, so why not give us the option to see guilds tied to the same system of visibility? That would work out just fine.

It's really a simple issue. There is no immersion breaking in allowing players to see guild tags. There is already the option to allow you to control how you see enemies and allies in Cyrodiil. You can see enemy faction crests so you know what alliance you are fighting. You can turn off ally crests.. you can turn off enemy crests. The option is already there. This is just expanding that to allow players to elect to show guild tags IF they wanted to.
In the real world logos, crests and banners have been used for ages to not only tell the enemy exactly what sub-group within a faction they are fighting, but also so allies know exactly who is there backing them up.
In the PvP world... in any genre... guild tags build rivalries. Rivalries build PvP communities. Guilds don't like being nameless randoms. They like standing out and showing everyone what they can do. Guilds like competing against other guilds. The whole point of allowing guilds to claim structures in Cyrodiil lends to the fact that they know we NEED these rivalries for PvP to prosper. If you can see guild names that claim structures.. both ally and enemy.. then there is zero argument against allowing guild nameplates to be shown IF the player elects to show them. It builds pride within the guild. Within the faction and within the community as a whole.
Even Guild Wars 2 had to change their system to at least show guild tags. If ZOS wants their large scale pvp to thrive it's a must for the PvP community. Rivalries build the community for the PvPers. Faction pride isn't enough.Edited by darkdruidssb14_ESO on April 10, 2014 1:39PM4 -

✭✭✭✭Im even a casual player and I'm left scratching my head on this. Immersion breaking? As several others have pointed out, make it an option. There are already several immersion breaking options.
To me this is a must have for long term pvp life. Right now pvp is fun and exciting because it is new. 6 months from now when i have done it 1 or 2 hours a night, it will be old and boring. The thing that will keep me coming back is the friends and ENEMIES i have made.1 -

Allow for a toggle to see or NOT to see. How dare someone complain over breaking immersion when they have the option to "immerse" themselves. You can't say other peoples immersion is broken because that is none of your business.
THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN. Whether it is over the physical character or over their healthbar when you hover over/tab target them.
There is NO personalization in a game that speaks completely about it.

Yup... a million AP points later (nearing 2 mill for some guildies) and I have gotten bored of not knowing who I fight. I am even beginning to wonder if the opposing 2 factions even have guilds. I cannot make a rivalry out of pugs, and farming anonymous players en masse leaves me a bit empty.
Guild tags should be an option implemented similarly to the crest system.[VoTF]0 -
