Outside of crafting and the DB ritual daily for the event, I hadn't really played my Imperial stamsorc in "real" content since wrathstone dropped.

I was super excited about the changes to imperial, as it seemed tailor made for my build.

Well I go to do pledges, and start fg2 solo (which I've done before) and it takes FOREVER to kill trash mobs and I even wipe a couple times.

I'm thinking, "what the? I thought those racial changes were going to buff this toon, not nerf it!!!"

Check to make sure I allocated skill points to racial bonuses...

I look at my skills, change my CP slightly, still having problems.

I finally realize that I'd changed monster sets and forgot to change my chest piece out......

Was only running 4 pieces of medium... Who knew I'd miss that 15% bonus THAT much! :D

So, my question is: was this an example of a "brain fart" or "old man brain?"

Anywho, I thought maybe some others had recent "derp" stories they'd like to share!

    I logged onto ESO and something wasn't right with my main character. Her inventory was missing some things I'd recently acquired.

    My guilds were missing some new people. Cyrodiil was nearly empty despite it nearly being Primetime.

    Yep, I'd accidently logged onto the PTS instead of Live.

    Since my Dunmer nightblade was getting changes to its race, to test it out I switched my mageblade to a stamblade for a while to test out the damage (and ofc get to be a stamblade which is way easier than a magblade right now [yeah buff mageblades plz haha]) in pvp. I already had the gear down, and changed 64 magicka to 64 stamina. Then I pvp'd for about 3 hours. First I did some BGs to warm up and get the daily. It went well! I had an average of K:D of about 4:1 over the course of 3 games.

    Then I went to Vivec Cyrodiil.

    I was having a haaaaard time getting kills on competent people. I thought everyone was running heavy armor builds for open world... I still got kills but I had to burst them so hard with incap -> spectral bow -> execute. I was getting annoyed because sometimes I felt like I was hitting with a wet noodle.

    Then I realized I didnt change my CP. Lulz. Switched CPs and then everything went great. Anyway I eventually switched back to Magicka Nightblade and remembered to change everything this time.

    I was going nuts the other day trying to find an ornate pauldron I got from daily writ. It was taking up an inventory slot but I couldn't find it.

    Yesterday I saw I was wearing the pauldron and had my monster pauldron in inventory. Spent days gimped like that and not knowing wtf happened to those ornate pauldrons.

    Still my derpiest derp moment of all my time in eso is when I would by new enchants becuse I didn’t know you could recharge them lol.

    I used potions from my inventory because I didn't know you could slot them on "Q" until level 28. Used the map to travel, even standing right next to a wayshrine until level 48...? 50...?

    I want to know how you can solo FG2!? Doesn't the 2nd boss chain you down & you need other players to kill one of the corner dudes to free you?

    I've gone into vet content, and tried healing people... without any passives.

    You can on normal. With high dps just make sure aoe’s are up and should kill one of the chainers before you die.

    I only played WoW, never played the others, or lan parties, so haven't a clue!

    Actually, I was pronouncing it mentally as "Shewenoat" based on thinking it might be Scot/Irish/Welsh.

    Healed half of WGT wearing medium night mother gaze for thieving who broke SPC and other set.
    Queued for random in undaunted even without weapons or armor, alt shared gear with another and she was just wearing outfit, did not notice the lack of weapons.
    Yes this is the downside of outfits and costumes.
    Broom and bucket is nice on alts without gear.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    That time i beat Vma and forgot my back bar bow weapon after i banked it for more enchanter to enchant... either sheer luck or hidden skill i survived

    I can kill 2nd boss, but on final boss I get dragged into a portal and then fight resets. Is there a trick to final boss?

    I was in the middle of swapping gear sets around and a buddy asked me for a duel to test his cancer build. I didn't have any weapons equips so I had to turtle up for 15 minutes until he forfeited the match out of sheer boredom. I had 2 Bloodspawn and 5 Champion of the Hist so I sustained on mostly Ultimate with DK passive. It actually made me a better player in that I know exactly how to maximize my defense.
